Soooo while I was bitching around, he is amazing in person, still not as great as the prototype but top notch sculpt. Very good likeness. I’d say the best likeness in this scale. Doesn’t need any kind of repaint imo. He is nowhere as skinny as photos show him. Still not accurate body but ten times better proportions in person. Head isn’t big either y'all just can’t photograph him. Inspected all three under the microscope. No defects so far,skin texture/freckle placement varies as they are hand painted so there are some variations but nothing dramatic.
Two of them are perfect,
Third one has wrinkles on the wrists, I think some massage and heating will smooth it out.
regular sculpt is 10/10 imo. Don’t care much about the angry one but it’s very nice as well.
Overall giving 9/10 bc of the body.I don’t regret spending as much money on him. I hope fourth one has no issues either. Should be there soon, for some reason got stuck for few days. Suit is well made and despite inaccurate details still looks very good. I think any Cavill/Superman fan will be pleased.
P.S. glued on curl doesn’t make any sense, it truly stands out if you look at it closely. @Justin please keep your ideas for yourself.

Good to hear you ended up liking this. I was certain I wanted a repaint for my Aragorn until I got him in hand. Sounds like this will be the same.

Yes! On photos face paint doesn’t look detailed enough imo and skin looks too smooth. In person he looks totally different, proper skin tone and details. I think InArt needs to slow down with the freckles they put it everywhere lol but overall very detailed and high quality sculpt/paint. I’m sure you’ll be surprised!

Totally agree about the curl, an utterly pointless feature and may as well be plastic with it being stuck in place.

Happens all the time with INART figs. How is that it’s taken them this long to realize INART puts out a good product? They didn’t use their eyes beforehand? Looks like they really need to have it in hand to change their tune.

It’s also funny to me when I see a lousy looking one with the eyes all messed up and the owner lauds it as being “blown away” lol. People do like INART. It’s only the small amount of “haters” who still like to s**t on them for whatever narrative reason. Just yesterday, someone responded to me on Facebook saying all INART figures are trash and they look crappy. I responded with a picture of my INART figs and said come again? The guy just f***ed off.

I tend to not overthink it, but they’re great figures. And they look even better when they’re futzed and spent time with, as many have shown on this board.
