I would love to see Hot Toys develop a 2.0 with their best effort but I wouldn't be surprised if they scrap it in favor of the new movie design. Especially considering how well the trailer itself is being received on social media.

Which makes me super happy to have the InArt version.
It would be weird for HT not to do another Cavill Supes, since they have the updated Batfleck coming out soon. But they've made weird decisions in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't make him. I definitely think they're going to go all in on the new Superman line. We could easily get 6+ figures from that movie.

So great news for those, like me, who feel like IA's Superman shoulders are a little too narrow. The shoulder has a muscle plate that can pop off! Makes it super easy to mod. I popped off both plates (left and right) and just added a piece of foam 3M tape inbetween the shoulder and armor plate. This gave just enough extra width for my liking. NOT suggesting this is necessary, it's just my preference.

Comparison shot. Modded (left) with Stock (right). The modded figure also has a Jaxxon cape.

Thanks so much for this!!

As you mentioned this is not something that is required, merely a modification that will make this great figure even better.

Going to give it a try next week!!!

wait a minute, are you poster artist Rory Kurtz!?!?!?

I think studios offer guidance to a degree,
but ultimately let the companies come up with something and then simply decide if it meets the licensing agreements.

Apparently Warner Bros. told JazzInc to make the ‘89 Batmobile’s bullets black instead of brass because they said it was “accurate”, but if you just watch the movie you can see they’re brass.

Tons of folks in the JazzInc facebook cult jumped on me for pointing it out after Joost “corrected” me.

Yeah I never understood why that decision was the call they made, if that’s what happened, though we’d never get clarity on it.

Frankly, the machine gun’s bullet casing color is the least of that car’s issues. Anyone can touch those up. Not many brave enough to strip the car completely and give it proper paint + finish.

So I received my Superman over the last weekend from Gundamit, and being my first ever Inart figure, I was totally blown away by it. That neutral sculpt, ah man it's like holding a mini Henry Cavill in hand. IA's paint work is really top-notch and I'd say, much better than HT. Even the hands have insane vein details, like those customs works. Just one thing which I didn't like is that both heads have this visible seam line which runs across the whole head and takes away the realism a bit. I thought mine were defected but upon checking almost all top review videos I found it to be made like that. Apart from that, this is a beautiful work of art and I'm really looking forward to their Regular and Knightmare Batman more than anything now.

Fortunately there were no QC issues with mine. I also found the bicep glyphs a little higher on my figure. Also had that thin plastic under the arms but it came off without damaging the suit material. The only minor issues are:
1. The drape cape's outer 2 pleats on the left side are sewn/spliced together. Not a big deal as already had to replace ot with a custom cape.
2. There are some minor scratches on the base logo design (more of a Customs doing I believe cause my figure was opened and inspected) but again it's an easy repaint.

Really happy with my first IA figure. Hope Batman also wins me over this coming week 😍
