I am honestly split between which shoulder I prefer it’s not a slam dunk for me that wider is better.

Both look good to me for their own reasons:gah:

Why do his eyes have mascara lol
I agree. For me it's just the less flawed of two inaccurate shoulders. The stock has the right overall shape, but to me the biceps are so large and head so oversized they make his shoulders look too narrow. making it look like he's got swim floats for biceps. The widened look is just an attempt to make his biceps less goofy and get a more heroic shape back. BUT, you lose that more screen accurate "slope" shape of his shoulders into his arms.

Keep in mind though, half that difference in appearance is from the new cape changing the shape of his traps and the look of his shoulders.

Fortunately, it's reversible, as it's just a piece of double sided tape widening them. BUT that would mean opening the suit up yet again, which I don't see myself doing since it's so delicate and I feel like it was luck alone that got me through it the first time.

But also remembered that the engineering behind the overall figure is directly tied to the amount of material used to match the stock body.

Adding body infrastructure will exceed the amount of physical material used for the suit so now you are left with having to stress the suit to cover the additional infrastructure.

In other words…becareful lol

How did you compensate for that?

That's what I was thinking but maybe not that minor of a change will put the structural integrity of the suit at risk. When Justin had that behind the scenes video with the designer, he was really able to stretch it like crazy.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about the material tearing. It's such a minor change in size spread out over a larger area. Even after doing it, you can feel how much more stretch the suit has in it.

In hand, you'll see that's not an issue. The suit is nowhere near skin tight. In fact it's pretty saggy in places, lol. Takes a lot of messaging to get the wrinkles to disappear.

I put my Jaxxon cape on the stock Superman (right) and the difference between the two is more subtle now. That stock cape just sat like cardboad on his traps.

Warning to others. I have noticed the rubber collar coming up in the corners around the cape opening as I swap capes. Really delicate there. Looks like it's just glued to the screenprinting, so not very secure.

What was the original price for this? Trying to find something aftermarket at a decent price 😅
I paid $400 each (including shipping) from OneSixthKit. Which was their common retail price at the time. Not sure what they're up to today. I wouldn't trust ebay, figures are always over inflated there. Check the One Sixth Republic BST page on facebook.
