I have what appears to be a later batch and an earlier batch version. The eye makeup seems pretty similar on both, but the later batch head has slightly sharper paint apps. But it’s a pretty slight difference, even in hand. I should get some closeup pics and see if anyone else notices.I noticed on recent batches they went crazy with smokey eyeshadow on eyebags.
Yes, your spot on about ventriloquist dummy vibe.Do the paint apps look as stark as they do in pictures?
He sort of has a ventriloquist dummy look to him.
Similar to what @Gipetto0812 said. That InArt body really would make a better MoS body. The difference here looks very similar in size to what I did.I was fairly satisfied with my MoS Supes, but Inart def blows him away. Not a fan of how the cape sits on the shoulders so a custom cape is a must for me, and I do have some other small nitpicks, but i can’t see this being topped. Really wish MoS got some love. Pre-ordered my first InArt figure. Sold my HT MoS Supe ages ago. This one will fit the vacancy nicely.
what are you using for the armored batman cowl model? would love to test print something like that out myself. Thanks!I had mine for a couple of weeks now just been real busy during the holidays, but this guy is freaking fantastic. Here’s a cool shot I did today. I’m gonna print an empty BVS armored Batman cowl in 1/6 I’ll let you all know how it comes out lol.
I haven’t found a good file yet. I did one attempt and scaled down a life-size model that did not turn out well lolwhat are you using for the armored batman cowl model? would love to test print something like that out myself. Thanks!
I ordered a Jaxon drape cape because the way the stock cape lays has always bothered me, particularly over the shoulders and across the back of the neck. Stock cape seems to be cut too low around the back of the neck and doesn't lay flush over the shoulders. Jaxon's seems to fix both those issues, but I do wish it was a shade or two deeper than the stock cape. I can't see a difference in the color from pictures others have posted.Soooo anyone getting Jaxon’s cape for this? Tempted.
You'll love the difference in how it sits on the shoulders and traps, and it's a great fabric. I own one of them as well. Side by side, it's a slightly cooler shade of red, but identically bright. BUT it takes dye well, so you could theoretically darken it with some Rit dye yourself. I've done it in the past with an unreal cape. Just need a bucket, dish soap, and some rubber gloves. The best part is you can adjust as you go. If it's too light, you just put it back in the dye.I ordered a Jaxon drape cape because the way the stock cape lays has always bothered me, particularly over the shoulders and across the back of the neck. I was actually planning on doing this with the InArt capes. But, now that you’ve mentioned the Jaxon one(s) take dye well, might just have to buy one and do that instead of potentially ruin the InArt ones. You'll love the difference in how it sits on the shoulders and traps, and it's a great fabric.
