The clothes look solid and some futzing with the eyes, plus a dry brush on the hair, would make him look pretty decent.

When the Great Sage version releases, I bet somebody will part out the head separately and you could just plop it on this body and voila!

Spent some time with this guy yesterday - definitely better after a futz for sure. I reckon you're right, a bit of dry brushing and some paint might elevate it - overall happy especially considering the aftermarket of the collectors edition. Joints could be better in the knees but articulation is great and can definitely pull off some of the more extreme poses.

Looks good!

Cool, is that the KO thats for around $50?
It looks like there were different levels to the KOs. I think the one you’re referring to is this one:

There looks to be a lot of differences. The one pictured has less detailed armor (all molded, no real laces) and even softer details, with cheaper parts.

IMHO each has its own uniqueness.

The CE version represents the destined one (original to this game),
while the Great Sage armor can represent both the real Wukong, and the destined one.

I love the simplicity and humbleness of the CE version, with its black clothes, wooden bo-staff and rock base. More monk-ish and down to earth.

But the Great Sage armor also has its own appeal with all the intricate details and the grandeur look, it is Wukong in full battle mode.

So to me, the CE represents adventure and wisdom, and the GSA represents power and might.
