If you could only have TWO... which two?

If you could only have THREE... would it be the key three?
TWO = Philosopher's Stone Harry in uniform and Dumbledore
THREE = Half Blood Prince finale Harry and Dumbledore and Deathly Hallows Voldemort.

The only reason Snape isn't involed is that I'd imagine the dispaly being Harry front and centre with the two forces of good and evil behind either side of him and Snape- despite arguably being one of the greatest heroes- is also dressed in black like Voldemort, and I'd prefer a little more colour variety/contrast and a really 'wizardy' outfit on display when repping Harry Potter.

For some reason, I felt like drawing an outline of what I presume Harry's proportions will be.
I was getting the impression that the figure has an awfully long neck- and maybe it does- but compared to images of Harry in that first movie, I don't actually think IA are that far off.
He's approximately 6.5 heads tall- which is pretty accurate for that age, if not a little tall. Sitting the head ever so slightly lower to round off the proportions to 6 heads would probably be perfect.

It could be the effect of the foreshortening on his Hedwig holding arm that's causing the proportions to look a little wonky, his shoulders are probably angled rather than being straight on to the camera'a viewpoint.

The all black clothing doesn't help to discern his silhouette either.

Ah, yes. I too measure children’s heights using eggs. Bravo. And I can also confirm- *looks at child egg height file* -that Dan was indeed six and a half eggs tall.

*Note. He’s only seven eggs tall now.

Darn, another InArt rabbit hole vying for my wallet. :lol

I'm guessing InArt only has enough bandwidth in their pipeline to tackle the main characters and perhaps only the major supporting Harry Potter characters.

So we'll still need the older StarAce figures to supplement the collection.

Yup, no way we are getting 20 characters from this franchise. They’ll do the mains, maybe older versions of them if possible….. but that’s it.

My hope is that they'll do at least a few of the professors. I'm certainly not expecting Slughorn and Lupin - but Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall would be really nice together, and they could even do them under the license they already have for the first movie.

Lord of the Rings has been the closest thing to a ‘line’ so far (outside a few two packs of the same character with different outfits) and we’ll be lucky to get most members of the Fellowship. Harry, Ron, and Hermionie is frankly a lofty goal at this point. I honestly wouldn’t expect anyone beyond Harry alone right now. InArt seems to be more focused on stand alone characters more than teams or lines. Certainly still way too early in their career to really know for sure on any of their plans but they’re not cranking figures out on a weekly basis like Hot Toys.

Well, IA did previously mention during an interview that they had ‘big plans’ (or some such phrase) for the Harry Potter license so I at least feel confident that this Harry will not be the only figure they make.

As they have confirmed they will not be as forthright with the community moving forwards (a tactical decision so as to stop informing the competition of their intentions- primarily to stop HT scrambling to beat them to the punch,) we may only get news of upcoming figures when they’re close to being ready for reveal from now on- something I’m totally fine with.

Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Dumble, Voldermort.

If we’re lucky…..maaaaybe, older Hallows versions of all 3 kids, Snape and Hagrid.

I guess it all depends on InArts capacity production wise. They’re moving at an OK pace for now, but their list of figurines across the board is tiny compared to larger companies. If they do go deep with HP we won’t see a wide range till 5 years away from now minimum.
