Outside of the unmasked headsculpt is there anything we think this would actually improve upon the Hot Toys version? The HT has almost every accessory he used in the movie.

Like how Wor controls his gf....with a shock collar in his basement.

A reason though to pre-order is to guarantee you have you have a copy in case it sells out on a figure that you want.
Although these are mass produced, they DO sell out.
And when your only chance is the secondary market, prepare to sell your kidney.

Take Justice League Superman for example.
I didnt pre-order as I figured I'm sure Hot toys would make a lot. Plus I thought I might be fine with just having the HT Man of Steel. Also there's a BvS option.
It sold out, and after I saw the actual suit in person, I realized I do want to update my older man of steel figure with the JL. Really didnt want the colors on the BvS.
I ended up paying quite a bit more specially since prices took off after the Snydercut.

No matter how good the product, there is always some room for improvement. I've seen people bring up how the HT cowl has a heavy handed leather texture that isn't really present on the film cowl, and the look of his abdomen pieces is kind of soft and puffy compared to the actual pieces in the film. Pretty minor nitpicky stuff but still areas where Inart could provide a better base figure, before getting into stuff like accessories or unmasked headsculpts.

I think a headsculpt where his eyes aren't as open as HT could look good, too. He spends the bulk of the movie looking tired as hell with heavy eyelids, like this:

Not right away. Zero need to pre-order unless you're trying to burn expiring points -- if you sleep on something after it starts shipping it's possible, sure. But if you see it release in Hong Kong you have weeks to get your order in at Sideshow (as an example).

Having seen their 1/3 Pattinson sculpt it seems unlikely they will top Hot Toys in terms of likeness.

Still very interested to see the figure, accessories, base and how it compares to Hot Toys.

Ye that sculpt doesn’t really capture Pattinson. It looks very idealised but, at the same time, it has an intense and determined expression and the messy hair which makes HT’s appear a little bland and the large sockets for his pers eyes seem much more obvious now.

If I start getting the Queen and other studios' The Batman, I will turn myself into The Hat Man.
I'll be broke and I will have to pass a hat around hoping that kind strangers will drop just enough
money into said hat so that I don't starve. Tough, tough times are ahead.

Realistically when's the first we could see this?
I would imagine we’re a few months off at least. We still haven’t seen a “full” reveal for Joker, and he’s supposed to be their first release.

We have a few years before Hot Toys’ figure will release so it isn’t a huge rush anyways. :lol
