By walking slowly into a stream of bullets.

(There are a handful of scenes that dampen my enjoyment of the film. This is one of them)
No I mean before that. When he enters the club he isn't front and center like the beginning making his presence known fighting his way inside. He goes in as the drifter knocks the one guard out to cut the power so he can use the dark to his advantage. Yes after taking down some guys in the hallway he has to walk up to the guys blasting him as I imagine he wants them to focus their hectic shots to his torso and not get hit in the face. That's my thoughts on it.

This guy is gonna be one I continually mess with like I do Aragorn. Redid some of the added padding in the arms but didn't want the material to look form fitting. I think I like the shape of the HT shoulder pads and length of the bicep armor more. Happy with how it is now, but still plan on getting the Unreal cowl/collar and the HT cape at a minimum. Will try to find the HT armor bits if I can.

Are those photos stock? Because he looks fantastic in there to me. Great pics!

Great job. Yeah I think the HT armor looks better and you can actually pad the arms out more then before. I was wondering if a body swap would be good.

Do you compare to references from the movie / bts while doing mods? Just want to know the process, maybe even trying to hit the same pose and camera angle as in the pictures you use.

Done a few things to him: removed some material on the mouthplate so you cant really see the nose, removed the velcro on the chestplate and shoulder pads and reattached with blutack(don't recommend blutack it sticks to the suit), padded the arms, and then made the cape connection two pieces instead of 1 similar to the HT cape mod.

I got a FedEx tracking from Spec, but it hasn't moved in 10 days as of now. It is being shipped from China and it will update by Dec 15th.

This is by far, the worst experience buying a collectible toy, ever. I'm 43, so I'm not an impatient person. I have plenty going on in life to be a ***** about delays. It is part of this, I know.

But this wait has been ridiculous.

That’s Spec Fiction for ya, unfortunately.

I think that's the point he was mainly straight brawler with a lot of rage so he isn't going for stealth hence the armor. At the final fight with the riddler goons he is moving a bit faster and starts using things in his environment like the smoke, and his gadgets to a degree as he he knows going in full fists isn't smart. Actually he starts getting more tactical when he goes after Carmine in the Iceberg lounge.
For sure, they did the best they could to make him look dangerous. But still, does it matter how hard Batman hits, when he takes forever to land it? It’s a problem in all the Batman films. They all look cool standing there in their elaborate batsuits, but look so slow and clunky in motion. Plus they all have these heavy capes weighing them down and compromised peripheral vision. Just once I’d love to see a film version of Batman take on a fighter who looks experienced and have a believable brawl. Lightening fast and brutal, like a real alleyway fight.

Film quality aside, I still think they did it best in Batman v Superman. He looked beefy but didn't have 30 plates of armor on him like Bale and Pattingson did. He showed no issues using his gadgets and throwing punches. He wasn't moving slow either. Of course, that got ruined when Snyder slapped him with a bunch of armor plates in Justice League but it was nice while it lasted.

That warehouse fight is my absolute favorite Batman fight scene from any of the films. I think I heard once that Snyder was inspired by Batman’s melee skills in the Arkham games, and it really shows in that scene. He so fluidly moves from one opponent to the next. I’m even willing to look past the fact that he straight up kills like half those dudes, lol.

I think Batfleck was the closest but his cancelled Batman film would have had him going toe to toe with Deathstroke and it would have been exactly what we wanted.

I don't know... Batfleck moved the most like a comic accurate Batman, but I've never liked the brick sh*thouse body type for Bats -- and yes, I'll be the Debbie Downer and say that the excessive violence (and murder) takes me out of it. I'm still waiting all these years later to see a live-action Batman on-screen that makes me think, "Yeah, I can imagine this guy running around with the Justice League."

Pattinson was perfect for what he needed to be, though. We finally got a detective, and he threw down enough to make it work.

Besides talking about which batman preformed better in film. I do think you guys did great futzing your Batman. I have also tried and do agree with Rory the HT armor pieces do help the figure in many ways. I was wondering what the Unreal collar looks like on this figure with the stock neck, and sculpt.
