Sorry to hear that Gipetto. Siberian's work is ambitious, but it's almost always on a very medium level.

i never would have trusted they could deliver a definitive result, let alone for Indy.
It’s a good starter/budget set and the price reflected that. I wasn’t expecting Yunsil/Iris level but I did expect a little better than what was received considering how nice the prototype set looked. However, after putting a lot of work into over the past week (specifically the jacket and shirt), it’s much better now and will be great for someone who may be starting their Indy journey. Plus, it was fun to test my modding skills, so not a total waste. But, currently the Yuan set is still what I will be using until their 2.0 set he’s apparently working on is ready to order.

Anyway, back to Aragorn. I know there were concerns about the jacket, but the whole outfit seems to have turned out great!

Of all things, I’m still surprised that the vambraces are actual fabric material rather than fully sculpted like what most other companies have done.

do we know if the eyes on this will be individually articulated like I think The Batman ones are? Or will this be PERS again?

EDIT: just went back and watched the second review and looks to be individual

As someone who ordered the sculpted version, I'm really happy with how it looks! Part of me wishes I had got the haired but I like how the hair frames the face on the sculpted!

Yes the sculpted hair really helps capture the likeness a lot as it has the layered fringe cut in which appears to be missing from the rooted version now...guess my hairdresser is about to get the shock of her life when I turn up with some tiny severed heads to trim the hair on!

I ordered both. Once I get them in hand and decide which one I like more, I’ll most likely sell the other one but from what I can see, I’m near certain I’ll keep the rooted version.

There’s more than likely a magnet at the top of the socket that’s attached to the ball joint. You can see the circlular shape. The magnet is most likely inside. This is how HaoyuToys did it for the headsculpts on their recent Achilles figure b/c one sculpt is rooted.

That said, even if it’s a friction joint, it should be fine. The only reason I could see a magnet being necessary here would be for transportation more than anything. We’ll most likely find out for certain soon as more reviews begin to surface

I haven't even received my Gandalf yet (I ordered through a UK retailer and it's taking some time) so this is double the waiting pain! Fortunately I ordered aragorn through Kit 👍🏻

I sold my assmus version a few years ago, sometimes I wish I had it back. Looking at this makes me glad I never bought it back. Now someone needs to cancel their preorder with Kit so I can get one!

I think this will be my last post here for a little while.

What The Batman taught me after the initial photo dump was to approach every InArt release like this:

I’m more than satisfied with the final product, but looking at new photos is gonna make the wait all the more painful.

InArt, I have, and will have every figure you produce (minus Pennywise, a mistake I won’t repeat again). you’ve more than proven to ME you are a force to be reckoned with. Now and forever:

But the wait between influencer batch and standard batch, they can go:

SEE YOU ALL IN 2 MONTHS!!

I was thinking exactly the same. The rooted version needs some layering and shortening round the front for sure.
