Can’t go wrong with One Sixth Kit; he’s my go-to for most third party figures and I primarily use KGHobby for Hot Toys.Where would best place to PO for someone in the UK
I would be tempted by perfectWould really like to have all the Aragorns!
- Fellowship Aragorn
- Battle - Damaged Aragorn
- Battle of Helm's Deep Aragorn
- Siege of Minas Tirith Aragorn
- Battle of Black Gate Aragorn
- Coronation Aragorn
Just imagine all those Aragorns!!
Thanks very much for the info m8, I was worried about the customs part aswell, so glad to hear of places that people have ordered fromCan’t go wrong with One Sixth Kit; he’s my go-to for most third party figures and I primarily use KGHobby for Hot Toys.
Prices are close (with KG usually coming out cheaper) and you shouldn’t ever get hit by customs buying from either. That’s really all you need for POs and check out Toys Buying Agent for recently released HTs.
Since Covid, shipping rates have just gone through the roof everywhere and naturally no company is going to now admit that they can perform the service for the old cost and lose out on tripling their profit margin so that’s just the new normal.
No. For now, InArt isn't licensed to sell in NorthAmerica directly, so you need to go through sites that ship from Hong Kong like One Sixth Kit (always the best bet), Giantoy (always reliable), or KG Hobby. Do NOT order from Toys Wonderland or Comic Sanctorum, there's a chance you'll get screwed on your order.Where can I order one? Does SS sale these?
I think you should hold off for InArt's Aragorn 2.0 - the rumor is it comes with fully articulated Vulture wings.Aragorn will be the tipping point for me. I passed on POing Gandalf (although I am certain I would be getting him on release anyway)... but if Aragorn looks great, then I will put in an order for Gandalf ASAP... which also give InArt a guaranteed Legolas sale from me as well.
Nazgul... now that I'm not too sure about. Price will determine.
Ideally, I would like 5 of the Fellowship -- the Three Hunters (Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli) and then Gandalf and Frodo.
Asmus Gimli is indeed good for now, but I'm eager to see what InArt can do -- if they're doing little Harry Potter, then Gimli seems like a sure thing.
Frodo I have less confidence in being made, especially if he's accurately scaled to the rest. We've never seen a properly sized Hobbit and I think people will be shocked just how small he'd be next to their InArt Gandalf. It would be a very hard figure to make (special body, really tight stitching, etc) and the cost would make it seem like a poor deal.
I'm sure it was done on purpose, but I almost spit out my drink over this one. Pluralizing a plural? This can't go unacknowledged!See, that's what people are expecting. Half the size, half the price... but in reality its much harder to make the little Hobbitses. A two-pack could be $900-$1,000... and then people see the size and do exactly what you're doing -- saying it should be half the price.
You've never heard this? Gollum calls them hobbitses.I'm sure it was done on purpose, but I almost spit out my drink over this one. Pluralizing a plural? This can't go unacknowledged!
Well if he did I've long forgotten about it. It's probably been 15 years since I've watched any of the LoTR movies. Hopefully my forum membership isn't revoked for admitting that lol...You've never heard this? Gollum calls them hobbitses.
Huh, weird. Anyone else just getting a blank post here? Almost like something should be here but it just says banned.BANNED

It's ok, I've only watched the LOTR trilogy for the first time in the past few months!
Oh wow! I watch them every November. The greatest cinematic trilogy of all time imo.Well if he did I've long forgotten about it. It's probably been 15 years since I've watched any of the LoTR movies. Hopefully my forum membership isn't revoked for admitting that lol...
Extended cuts??It's ok, I've only watched the LOTR trilogy for the first time in the past few months!
Don't get me wrong - I think they're great, I just honestly can't remember the last time I watched them. They used to be on cable all the time, but they seem to be an afterthought now with the glut of superhero movies available. Aren't they on Amazon Prime? I thought I saw at least one listed there when I went to watch The Rings Of Power.Oh wow! I watch them every November. The greatest cinematic trilogy of all time imo.
Extended cuts??
Absolutely and I don't judge. They are on Prime and HBOmax. I know for sure the extended editions are on HBO which I will always recommend over the theatrical cuts.Don't get me wrong - I think they're great, I just honestly can't remember the last time I watched them.
