I'm not brave enough to undress/disassemble my Aragorn or Gandalf, but I wonder if the IA bodies have the same elbow/forearm configuration so that the whole forearm could be popped out at the elbow and replaced with a standard True-Type forearm with a standard, non-magnetic wrist peg hole. (My Gandalf's right wrist connection is crap and barely holds the hand in place.)

E.g. can't tell from the pic from folks parting out, but maybe

Does anybody else absolutely HATE the magnet wrist joints that InArt do? On my Heath Ledger Joker figure it was hard to move him around while he was holding his machine gun because the weight of the gun would make his hand fall off if touched slightly, and with Aragorn I tried to have him hold his sword with both hands like he always does in the movies but it was almost impossible to bend his arms inward and hold the sword without a hand coming away from the wrist. Wish they would just make Normal wrist pegs.
They’ve never been good, although luckily I haven’t had a problem with them. The only time they should use the magnets is when they’re doing swappable forearms like what Joker had.

Good thing is that they ditched the magnets completely with the Dune Paul figure. They’re using regular wrist joints that are also skin tone painted. Swapping hands on that figure is extremely easy and smooth. Hopefully they continue to do that moving forward.

Thinking of getting Inart Aragorn but I want Return of the King outfit or even the Two Towers
I know they probably do it sometime in the future but I don’t want to be in my 80 by the time it announce it.

If InArt wants to be the "be-all, end-all" they should change to long wrist pegs, and each hand should have a peg, ala Sideshow. Whatever Sideshow's trick is, the peg always stays in the hand, and it's not a struggle to change out hands.
The one thing Sideshow does that I really like. Not sure why more sixth scale manufacturers don’t include pegs with all hands.
