I'm not sure what that means...

Should I be waiting for something before I buy shoes elsewhere?

Well basically, I'm using ROTLA boots for my Doc Brown bash right now, but only because those are the only Pro-compatible feet I have. So if there is a way to mod the pro to support True Type ankle pegs then that would free up the boots for you! :lol I might just try combining the pro ankle joint with the TT pegs and see what I get..

Dan take as long as you like with Cobb, i would rather get him perfected than you think we are eager to have him and rush him out the door to get to us, i would be very suprised if i didnt speak for everybody else on this aswell

Thanks Dan your a legend for making this happen for us, truely appreciate it, your a great guy and a superb artist!!!

Couldn't agree more!

hey guys, still working on the mods ( I appreciate the photoshoped pics, they'll help, I'll see what I can do)

, but
just letting you know the first shipment for Inception heads has been sold out for ARTHUR, and 7-8 remaining for Cobb.

I'm hoping to cancel the WITHOUT neck versions since there were so few buyers for those but still waiting on a few to reply back about that.

for those who reserved one (you made it!)

Anyone who places an order after that will be in the second shipment which won't be too long after the first shipment (2 weeks). I want to have the first batch of 30 inception heads out as fast as possible.

Daniel

God, I hope I'm not the only stick in the mud that's holding on to his neckless order for dear life. :(

I placed my order for all neckless versions as well. I'd really like to mount my Arthur on true type slims for an accurate look...:(

I'm planning on making Arthur in suit and scar toting arthur as well so bring on the jacket kato!

I have been avoiding this thread as I have been slow to going to the movies this summer (I know, I know) but those are some great heads! Looking forward to seeing what I can do with them!

I'm going with my 'regular' painter GDB. ;) Josh is always super busy and packed full of orders. I've pm'd SilentSurfer about some painting but he's backed up. It's almost 'luck of the draw' with the so-called big boys. You have to catch them at the right time. I love boot's paints, but I think they'd almost look out of place in my collection (if that makes sense).

GDB... that's the Nosferatu guy right?

[Edit] Never mind, it's the John Locke guy!
https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51271

I know him as "the Nosferatu guy" first, because I was considering sending him mine a while ago. :lol

Hey, wait, that's me! :wave

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Thanks for the shout out!

I always wanted to be known as the Elder Predator guy but everyone likes Nos and Locke. :dunno I have others on display if you click on my signature... :naughty

I can totally agree with Teddy here in every aspect. And i would even wait until you come back after your school in December. So take your time and if you have some other heads to make and you have a deadline for them, make them first, we can wait for your heads! :)

I am quite satisfied with this now.
Ah this one's taken me the longest so far haha.
He has a very unique cheek structure and it doesn't help that his weight on the face fluctuates in many pics

hahaha there seems to be little change but believe I resculpted the whole cheek/jaw/chin area over and over til I felt like it was right haha and it still turns out similar but difference in cheek bones etc.
nose is obviously higher up too :)

You sticks in the mud! jk

hahaha well in that case, I will indeed make WITHOUT neck versions. Do be honest, I was gonna use those without neck versions for myself as well haha. But I really hope I get more orders in on those to make it worth it... haha

hm, I did meddle with the nose quite a bit but I realized if I made it any smaller, his face would not have so much of the "scrunched up" feature look to it.

I think I'll try and made the nostrils a bit narrower but I just baked the sculpture haha so we'll see how that goes

i appreciate your work on this sculpt dan and i can see some improvements on the cheek-area. but I have to agree with elvis, the nose throws the sculpt now completely off :( it's too big, too wide and the left nosewing is also bigger then the other one. from the side it's definitely Leo, it's really dead-on, but from the front-side the nose irritates the overall-look. when I'm hiding the nose for example with my finger, i can see Leo in there and when i remove my finger and i can see the nose with the sculpt, i can't see Leo anymore. So you are very very close to get the likeness and I think it's only the nose which needs to be renewed. I hope you won't take my advices as a critic. I'm only saying it to give you some more advices to improve yourself and make this sculpt to a perfect-looking sculpt. and i hope you won't give up :) and like i said before, take your time. maybe you need a bit distance from this sculpt. when you're working too much on something you might not see the errors for yourself. so take your time, i would also wait until next year for it.

mmm still not quiet there, I think the nose i too big?

The bridge of the nose looks smaller to me now. But the nostrils seem to flared maybe.

Yeah, I think that's all it needs to be honest. (How do you do that after you bake it?)

It's a brilliant sculpt otherwise. :)

:yess: Thank you! What a relief!

I really do think that when people see this sculpt with the HT neck on an open shirt figure, they will be moved to buy more. :)

And I'll be posting tons of pics, don't worry!

Awesome improvement. It is very close to being the perfect Leo sculpt imo.
I think the nose bridge could be a little thinner aswell as the nostrils being smaller and that little tip being a tiny bit smaller. I was messing around in photoshop again , if you do decide to make any more changes maybe this will help a little. Left is the sculpt as it stands.

I messed with the nose , made the face a little fuller ( to much imo ) and actually made the bottom lip a tad wider.
I also brought the hairline down a little but this doesn't really need doing. :rotfl

Excellent work with this , I'm excited to get them. :rock

Here is my Winter gear so far. Just need to find some boots. And the heads look great!

One quick question: Did Cobb just have a goatee or did his beard actually go back along his jawline like this?
