hey guys the repaints are looking pretty good.
Seb, I like how well you do the lips, and the eyes look pretty clean!
Turdferguson, I think the skin tone on yours is pretty dang accurate and the repaint looks clean.
i appreciate that many of you are taking the time and posting pics
I stil haven't got my hands on them yet, but some tips regardin repainting them (since I know my sculpts aren't the easiest to paint)
Here are some pointers I could suggest for anyone painting them (turdferguson and seb, yours look pretty cool right now though.)
My sculpt is not perfect so I apologize for all the struggles this might bring ya when you paint'm haha.
1. though I sculpted the eyebrows thick, his eyebrows are actually dark in towards the middle but they fade out
2. his lips are very close to his skin color. when i did the photoshop mock up, I only slightly tinted the lips differently. They're a bit pink-ish but the fact that they blend with the rest of his skin color helps bring out his unique lip structure.
3. eyes: same as my tyler durden sculpt, he'll need some good "eyeliner" (black lines) on his upper eyelid to bring out his unique eye "structure" (sort of lazy, tired eyes)
the lines and folds in his upper eye lid MUST be brought out as much as possible. You could do a wash brush do make the lines more darker and distinguished.
also, IMO his eyes are more dark brown (black-ish) than lighter brown
