Well, it's not masterpiece theater obviously, but I wouldn't call it bad by any stretch.

You could describe me as an "OT Fanboi", and I would have to admit that every once in a while the acting falls into a "so bad it's good" category.

As opposed to the PT, where almost everything falls into "so bad it's horrible." :D

ROTJ is definitely the most PT like of the OT films as far as stilted, awkwardly delivered dialogue goes, mainly in the Endor scenes. The Jabba's palace and Death Star scenes save it. I still see nothing wrong with the acting in ANH and ESB.

Oh, and that clip was hilarious. :lol Why Lucas decided to make Leia Luke's sister and introduce that creepy element to the series I'll never know.

Along with this video there was the dialogue of an alledgedly deleted scene from ESB where Luke and Leia nearly kiss just before the droids and Han come in (which is what's left in the movie). I dunno if its real or not but reading it had to be the creeepiest thing I've ever seen. :lol

Well, in ANH there was no plan for Vader to be the father nor Luke and Leia being related. But you'd think that by Empire that a plan had been in place. So yeah - a little creepy...

I remember after seeing ESB as a kid wondering if Han would be saved, such a great cliffhanger....then three years later, on TV was the ROTJ commercial and there was Han running around all over the place!!! Way to keep that cliffhanger moment going!!!:rotfl:rotfl

In hindsight, Han should have never been saved, His character in ROTJ was so distant from ANH and ESB.

That was great! The music really made the scene. Anyone know where it's from? It's sounds so familiar...

:( I completely agree. Whose bright idea was it to make Han a buffoon?

Actually, it's the theme from "Ironside", a 60's TV show starring Raymond Burr as...(wait for it) a wheelchair bound detective. It was actually not a bad show;Burr at his grouchy best...PS
