Really fun and awesome movie. Ain't no lie, I was crushing on Elastigirl.

Spoilers below.

I was not a fan. It should have been called Elastigirl...hated how they made the father depressed at home with the kids. Really? Terrible story and I wanted the family team together fighting crime. It was very boring too and needed a better villain. Big let down.

Didn't you know? The Woman is now the head of the household and the Man is just a limp wristed baffoon

I didn’t like the first one and this one looked terrible. Glad I’m not a fan of this, I’d be so disappointed as a fan.

I never understood why the first one got so iconic.
It was nice but not the greatest superhero movie people make it out to be

Saw it. Was OK. Amusing at times. But nothing amazing. Good for kids I guess, if they care. Because the kids who grew up with the first movie aren't kids anymore. My theater had 90% adults, maybe 10% kids -- 11am show.

Basically similar story as the first but with the wife (new school) secretly being the hero instead of the husband (old school). Not sure why this very mundane story took 14 years to deliver. They've done this subject to death in X-men and Civil War and just about every comic book ever written.

Exactly, every man needs to be a Homer Simpson bafoon while the woman is smarter, stronger and runs everything.

Pretty much, but now it's movies, commercials and TV. It's gotten really bad in the last few years.

This is a good thing. The more this is pushed the more women become self reliable. Dont fight it. Promote it

Just got back from seeing it. It was OK, like Wor-Gar said. Honestly I barely remember it, apart from the scene where
Violet sneezes water out of her nose at the restaurant. That was my favorite part, I think. :lol

The villain wasn't very memorable either. The twist seemed a little unnecessary. It was weird how quickly they disposed of the Underminer too.

Overall I'd say it's a 6/10 as a sequel, and maybe a 7-7.5 as a good kid's movie. I don't think it's what fans of the first wanted, but it isn't bad. I had some fun.

Finally got to see this last night and I'm not going to say that it was bad objectively, but it really wasn't my cup of tea. I'm just really tired of the whole "superheroes need to be put in check" theme as it bored me to tears with both Civil War and Batman v. Superman and it was obviously a big part of this film's premise. The villain (both the real villain and the decoy) were completely forgettable and I really didn't like how they had Mr. Incredible depressed at home taking care of the kids. Plus, we've seen the whole mind control plot done a million times before and it just felt cliched here. That being said there were a few fun scenes, but not enough to keep me thoughtfully entertained.

So it's a very average 5/10, maybe a 5.5/10 if I'm generous.

I didn't care of this one either. Some of the action scenes were pretty good, like the motorcycle chase, but the story overall was lackluster and boring, same with the villain.

...and the merchandise gathers dust at my local Targets and WalMarts- what was domestic box office? Something of a disappointment I'm sure

Anyone see Flirty Girl's take on all three of Elastigirl's designs? I preordered all three XD

Though oddly enough there isn't a recommended body type for it, so going to have to figure that out. Might have the older two costumes be the same, but the younger one will have a smaller one
