My lunch today was: Palek Paneer, Naan Bread, Butter Chicken, Tandori Chicken, Lentils and Mango Custard

I feel sufficiently human.

I hate Indian food. I have tried it 3 times just to be fair. The rice tastes like flowers. Everything smells funny and looks like it was put in a blender. I really wish I would like it though. A bunch of people I work with like it. I don't know.

Though I share your love for Indian food, I would pretty much take all things Mexican over it any day of the week.

Oh, I love Mexican food as well. The REAL stuff, though... not the phony whitebread Cali/Tex-Mex crap. :monkey4

As far as Indian food is concerned, I can completely understand why many would not be able to acquire the taste. Fortunately for me, Mom's from Trinidad and so I grew up eating lots of West Indian/Caribbean foods, which is quite similar. Yummy.

I tried Morrocan (I think I spelled that right) before at Epcot. The meat on skewers wasn't too bad. Then they brought out like ground beef in a pastry with powdered sugar on top and the that ruined that experience. LOL! No sugar on me meat. LOL! The belly dancer was worth the trip though. :monkey3

I would agree with BadMoon. I'm sure the food is great, but I can't handle spice. I can't even eat tobasco sauce, it's too spicy for me. Coworker of mine brought back authentic indian spices from mumbia the other week, and my mouth was burning for like 6 hours and I got a fever. I'm all about the pasta and meat sauce (but I'm italian)

See I like spicy though. By that I mean hot sauces. Love it!
