Hi All
Well after having this sit on the work bench for a while I decided to complete it of over the last two days. I wanted something different in the way of a dio and also be able to store the figure safely if it needs to be moved.
Recipe
Indiana Jones - Everything on indy is from Sideshow except the Hat which is from Hero Heads and the shoes are from Hasbro's Indy. The whip has been made using the hand grip from Sideshow bendable whip with leather braiding which I got from the local craft store, the torch is made using sticks again from the local craft store with string wrapped around it.
The Crate/Display - The crate is a bottle holder which is used to transport the bottle so it doesn't get damaged. I used balsa wood and glued it to the holder then scribed the lines into to simulate the individual boards and the garage cut to size and then pushed into place and superglued.
The interior was built up using high density foam then carved to the desired look and then a mix of plaster of paris, woddglue/PVA and fine sand was mixed together and was then applied to the foam. The moss I picked up fro the laocal florist and the vines/roots are from some old small palm plants that died after the cyclone we had.
Once both the figure and dio/display was completed I painted and weathered them using Vallejo, Games Workshop paints and weathered with chalk pastels.
