Just received mine the other day and it is very dark too. The hat head is darker than the head w/o the hat, but both are too dark.

Seriously though, it sucks. You wait and wait, pay a nice amount of money and you get THAT. Not cool. Even if you get it replaced, and that replacement is perfect, it still won't be the same. You'll be happy but the whole fubar experience kinda ruins it, slightly. I know. I have bad luck like that. lol.

Has anyone contacted Sideshow about this? I'd like to know what their response is and if they will make replacements available for all of these dark skinned PF's or if they are saying "Sorry, that's just the way it is, refunds only."

I've heard back from Sideshow and although they have yet to look at my pics, they did say that my figure is probably not defective and that most if not all figures are going to be dark. I order mine in April and it does suck that I'm not satisfied. It also is a little anoying that the picture of the figure is some much lighter in color than what I received. There are strength in numbers so for those of we recieved "Tanning Bed" Indy.......let Sideshow know about it.

That is how it was for the Dead Tac Zombie that was shipping green. Caused me to stop with the line and sell off what I had.

I still haven't had a call back... and since my initial call the holster has fallen apart and the pin on the belt buckle has snapped off. NOT having a good time...

Faken: Thanks for your video, it really is the best illustration of the problem. I've forwarded it to Sideshow along with some of the other complaints. If our figures our "normal", I could deal with that. But when I look at the picture that Sideshow posts on the web-site, it ticks me off....

My Exclusive "hat on" version is pretty dark...even though you can't tell it in the pics that I posted in the image thread. My wife was pretty surprised at how dark his skin tone was, but at least his right hand that holds the idol is about the same color...the left hand is lighter though LOL! Now the head without the hat IS a bit lighter, but I still have yet to put in on the statue. I can live with my Indy statue and I am still pretty pleased with how he turned out, but he will have to be displayed by himself when I get my room done so his "tan" isn't as noticeable.

I notice everyone is now noticing what I noticed last week when I got mine. I called sideshow last week to question the paint job and as soon as I mentioned it I noticed a shift in attitude. They said someone would call me back. I received an email asking for pictures. Has anyone thought of posting these complaints on sideshows review section for this PF?

If anyone thought it would help I would do it, but I think it would be fruitless. Plus, I'm screwed on the refund because I got it from a dealer, so I'm kind of in the mindset now that this is what being hustled feels like, and I'll eventually ship it to one of our resident artists for a repaint and (hopefully) some pastel work on the jacket.

After that---who knows? Could be the crown of my collection
