Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

Hmmm....kinda stuck between an action shot and a photo shot....not liking the pose but the sculpt, etc. looks really good from this one far away shot.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

The sculpt looks great, and the clothes are great, but the pose is another victim of the twist and lean away thing Sideshow likes to do. I really hate that. His left leg should be forward if he's whipping from the right side. Simple body mechanics. Just like throwing a haymaker from the right side, you don't lead with your right foot.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

Likeness looks really bad at the moment ....

The likeness isn't terrible. It's the huge eyes and the position of them that looks odd. Is he about to whip a snake?? He should be looking up not downward. Stubble looks decent from the photos I have seen. Jacket looks a bit cheap.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

Eyes are standing out to me, and not in a good way.

Disappointed in this one to be honest.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

yeah it definitely doesn't look like it has the same material they used for Obi-Wan.

What was your work SilentSurfer?

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

Those eyes are hilarious.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

The pose is definately awkward, who made that call?

Eyes could always be fixed in production paint, I assume that's a hand painted prototype?

All in all not worth the money imo, better base and pose would have saved it. Jacket could be a bit nicer too. Is he missing his gunbelt or is it just hiked way up around his waste?

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

He really looks plain, like something is missing. I get what they were going for with the pose, but just seems to fall flat in 3-D. Sculpt is deadon, but ruined as usual with bad paint. The eyes are horrid. On the one hand, I'm so disappointed in this, but on the other hand I'm glad I don't like it as much as my PFs, and can easily pass on this and not feel bad about doing so.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

He could really benefit from more weathering. A little scuff on the knees may cut it for 1/6 but in 1/2 scale, he should look dirty and weathered. He looks like he's on his first adventure.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

I think they rushed him to get him out in time for SDCC, and it shows. I think he needs more work.

Re: Indy Legendary Scale? Looks like it!

Yeah, I can honestly say that next to the other LSFs on display he's definitely the weakest of the bunch, which makes me sad. Obi-Wan was like the first one shown last year and it still blows this away.

It's not bad, but it really just looks like a 1:2 scale PF.
