Hi All

Another Indy figure to add to my Raiders collection, I really love the head sculpt on this figure it's the best likeness of Ford I've seen. I have more figures to add to the Raider series and I will post them as soon as there done, once I was happy with the overall look and feel of the figure and base I used Vallejo, Reaper, GW paints and pastels to paint and weather the entire thing.

RECIPE
1: Indiana Jones - The body is a TTL-V3 as are the hands, the head and Fedora is a shruken down PF Indy head and is an awesome likeness of Ford. All the clothing and revolver are from Sideshow's Indy figure, The whip has the Sideshow Indy bendable whip handle but the whip itself it leather coil which I got from the local craft shop.

The gloves are from a Soldier Story WW2 parachute figure and the torch has been made from decrotive sticks that I got dheap from a home ware shop.

2: Base - The base is a Indiana Jones stand and has plaster of Paris and sculpty clay added for the ground work, the soil is mulched up dirt/bark from the garden and the plants are from the local pet shop.

Looks awesome as usual Ron. :clap:clap: clap

Are the gloves on flexible hands? I think I need to get a pair now...

Hi All

Cavlcade - Cheers mate and the gloves I put on a pair of TTL.V3 hands, I had to whack them in boiling water to get them flexible enough to get the gloves on but they look heaps better then the bendy hands.

Ron

hey ron, did you have to modify the gloves at all to get the hands on? It looks like the hands are too big.

Hi All

The Rogster - I had to soak the gloves in warm water to get them to fit on the hands. I had a look at the figure and the hands looks ok I think it might be the way I took the pics.

Ron

thanks and your figures hands look great, I was talking about the way the gloves I bought looked.

Sorry mate I should have read it and explained a little better.

Once the gloves have been soaked in the water and you are ready to put them on the hands use a thin blunt object to push the gloves as far as you can down on the fingers.

Then get a hair drier to dry the gloves the gloves will shrink just a little, then get some superglue and use a small amount at the wrist area to stop them from moving or sliding off the fingers.

Ron

man, it's alot harder than it looks. No matter how hard I try I can't get the fingers in right. Ugh! Thanks though. :)
