Quick question, does anyone have any idea what is going on with the dead drop tapes, the people john/kessler describe i have not come across at all, is it a tie in thing to the next one?

I have a question on the final boss. Don't ruin the game for anyone else please so use spoiler tags.

Was there an easier way to kill the final boss than to just spam the heck out of your normal shot? My hand almost fell off after beating him.

Not that i know of, thats all i did but maybe the lightning storm power is more effective, i only got a chance to use it once though

I spammed the shock grenades and he died quick.

This game blew. So repetitive and the enemies were pretty much the same from one area to another. The whole time I played through the game I kept thinking about how it felt like the developers didn't even want to try and just slapped the same junk throughout the whole game. Another crappy PS3 game.

Damn I am totally loving this game. It just goes to show a lil' TLC goes along way. Kudos to Sucker Punch for putting out such a fun quality game. Another gem in PS3's lineup.

I'm guessing the truth is somewhere in-between these posts.:lol

After the playing the Sly Cooper games, I have trust in Sucker Punch and I'll bet the answer is closer to Starkiller's repsonse. :rock

It would have been a fun game if the missions didn't repeat and there had been cinematics instead of comic book panel style storytelling.

THX tells the truth as i said this game we great at first but became crap due to the repetitive nature, count how many times you have to clear a building of cctv or chase down a bus or escort prisoners over and over again.

I'm glad other people are enjoying it but anyone that says this game is repetitive is lying imho :)

Yeah, this game is AMAZING till about halfway through when you realize you've seen everything there is to see and the rest is just repetitive battles.

Really sad actually because this game could have been great.

Yep well it's something they can fix for Infamous 2 hopefully? :)

All sandbox games are repetitive in nature, it's just A, how well disguised are they. B, how often they occur. C, how fun they are. GTA4 was repetitive but I still enjoyed that game, Assassin's Creed was too tedious to me and not linear enough so I hated it. I love Infamous because it has a good balance to it. Plus the whole good evil thing is interesting.

I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I've already played Prototype and thought that it was super frustrating and the enemies were extremely irritating. Infamous does have its drawbacks. It seems like sometimes you get caught out in the open in the middle of a firefight and just get blown away with no chance of survival, but at least you spawn right back where you were, and have unlimited continues. It's so much fun doing a ginormous Thunder Drop off the highest building you can find.

There are seriously a bunch of really fun parts in this game.

I know how sandbox games work but imho and almost everyone elses i read this game doesn't do a good job at hiding the repetitive stuff at all. I know loads of people like myself that sold the game because of it! when i started playing i was thinking i'm playing through as evil after this but once i was at the 3rd island it changed to stuff that i can't even be arsed with 1 playthrough. :lol

I'll just leave it there though and as i said i'm glad others like! :)

I agree with you both, but I have a feeling you haven't gotten to the third island yet. No one is saying the game isn't fun till about the end of the second island, it's when you get to the third that you want to throw your controller and quit playing the game.

Just beat it today being evil. Love the ending, I'm not sure if it's the same when your good. I assume and hope not. But the ending was good, what a twist!?!?

Slid game, my favorite of the year so far? Maybe. Now to replay it as good.
