Interesting....pretty good likeness and appears to be representing him as Col. John Marlowe from The Horse Soldiers. His uniform looks pretty "spot-on" for depicting that film, but there are some odd choices here. They have him holding a Smith Carbine, which is a fun idea as the Smith was a popular arm for Cavalry during the War, but Marlowe never handled a Carbine in the film and at the time for practical reasons the film production used Springfield Carbines (post-war developed). He's also holding it in an awkward place on the stock. His belt should be a sword belt, not a trousers belt, so it shouldn't pass through loops on the trousers. The sword straps shown should be black to match the belt and the plate doesn't look to be the Eagle and Wreath of 1851, but it's hard to see that detail.

Overall it's a good-looking release, with exceptions as noted above, but I will pass. I'm not collecting statues and am interested to see their teased Hondo figure. Now, if this was a figure and not a statue, I might go for it as details such as I pointed out could be changed/swapped.

Cheers!
