I was sure from the pictures that his suit was fabric
damn,well done

I'm not as optimistic. Outside of Marvel and Star Wars stuff, old movies celebritis seem very "niche" in the figure market. I think it's already a miracle to have a statue of Vincent Price.I'm sure he will eventually get a figure treatment. I hope as himself in a tuxedo though. With three different heads and hands sets. Like Amok Time did with their Karloff. Young, middle aged, elder.
I really wish this statue would hurry up and get here though. Modern collecting delays are a nightmare.
Same. I've considered getting this and making a little burlap sack to cover it. I think a Price 1/6 scale figure is still in the realm of possibility though, as others have noted.Just found this, and I'm so annoyed. It's like the perfect Vincent Price stature... Except for that severed head. It just seems a little to gory for me I guess? I would have preferred something more understated, and it kind of kills me (no pun intended) that it's such a dealbreaker. I wish *that* hand was the swappable one. Gah.
For me, it’s because I have grandchildren that come through the house all the time. And me explaining to them, “It’s OK. It’s a fake head from the movie”, probably wouldn’t cut it.The head in the film is fake guys. Come on. This may say "Vincent Price" but its film specific. If in 1959 it was ok to put it on a movie poster (of his actual wife in the film no less) surely its palatable to have the fake Wm. Castle scare hair head on this statue. It's by no means a deal breaker. Nowadays this classic piece of Americana would be the subject of endless youtube commentaries or Twitter mobs crying "misogyny",lol. Personally I love the head. One of Vinney's most well known items in the 70's was about wee decapitated heads. Come on fellas, gotta remember, horror is for tough guys.
And honestly, I was never one of those horror fans who like gruesome, gory stuff to begin with. I don’t get why anyone would want to look at something grotesque on a daily basis. Classic monsters or actors I get, but I never understood the appeal of blood gore and guts on display in someone’s home. Just my two cents, other peoples mileage may vary. The head in the film is fake guys. Come on. This may say "Vincent Price" but its film specific. Well, I also am geared more towards "safe" and "monster" movies/ "creature feature" style flicks too, as opposed to "horror". But sometimes a mannequin head is just a mannequin head, lol. That being said, little eyes must be protected until they can realize this. So get cracking on that burlap sack, and tell them its a bag of apples until they are old enough to know the truth. . See what I did there with the apples thing? Peace. And honestly, I was never one of those horror fans who like gruesome, gory stuff to begin with. He’s trick-or-treating. I really do hope they do a 1/6 scale figure, but I’m having a hard time passing on this. Still available through IS.Well, I also am geared more towards "safe" and "monster" movies/ "creature feature" style flicks too, as opposed to "horror". I think thats why they littered the base with bones, I think its supposed to be the skeleton he brings up from the acid. i'm not sure where the bloody axe fits in though. The skeleton marionette behind him would have been cool.
