Django is lightweight fare and feels less ambitious compared to Basterds.

My favorite QT flick is Jackie Brown. for perspective.

I'm partial to Inglorious Basterds. In my top three QT films, alongside Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

I loved both and Inglorious Basterds is the better film but I enjoyed Django Unchained ever so slightly more. I just wish the last quarter was better edited. It felt a little disjointed.

I really liked Django, but Basterds for sure. It had a lot more going for it.

Django edges it out for me. As much as I LOVE the scenes with Pitt and the Basterds as well as Christoph Waltz....I really can't say I care at all about the German war hero and every scene he's in. That whole sidestory is annoying to get through and it makes me wish that more of the film itself focused on the Basterds actually chasing down nazis.

Django is one of his best imo

Both are excellent films, I honestly couldn't pick one over the other. They'll forever be classics to me (equally of course) :lol :D
