I spoke with Chris Howes who has agreed to take on this sculpt sometime shortly after the new year.
He needs the usual from us which is 10 people interested per head. If we can get 10 people interested in both then he will sculpt both.
I will begin the list now, Please get on if your interested, the way it works is like this.
-Pricing and Details-
10 People Interested = $35.00 per Head + Shipping
15 or More People = $20.00 per Head + Shipping
No Payment is required until you hear from myself or Chris. Paypal or Money Order will be acceptable.

Kuato offers a discount ($30.00 + shipping) on the first 10 orders, full price thereafter ($45.00 + shipping)

I also talked about doing the cigarette holder, he can accomodate this at an extra $10. The holder would be removable from his mouth and the lips would be slightly parted for it to fit in between. The cigarette itself could also be removable, or attached.
I have also posted this on the first page along with the list, Please PM me or speak up again if you already voted so I can put you on the list. Be sure to tell me if you want Hunter or Depp, or both as well as if you think you may want it painted by Kuato.

Hey Deckard, buddy..... do we have this thread cross posted on at least OSW and MWD? Might help to get a little more exposure and drum up some interest. I'd really like to sculpt him.

No, but its a good idea, I'll start threads tonite at least at OSW. I'll see if I can find a Hunter S. Thompson forum as well.
If we can get up to at least 7-8, I'll cover the others and just give them away to friends who are Thompson fans.
I've got everything else ready for mine anyway, shirts, pants, sunglasses, boonie hats, a revolver, suitcase, and typewriter. I'm also having a friend make some 1/6 scale Hunter for Sheriff posters.

Thanks, any help with linking this to other sites is welcome and appreciated. I've been a litte behind the past couple of days since I have bronchitis and am coughing up blood here and there.
I will also do anything I can to help you guys out with outfits.

Seriously, take it easy. Do that Doctor thing. Chicken soup, orange juice, etc. If I'd known I wouldn't have suggested it for a while. Don't put yourself out, just rest. Let your fellow freaks take care of it.

Thanks, guys, I'm doing a little better after having visited the er and being prescribed antibiotics. A few nights ago before I realised what I had, I woke up choking on my own blood. Actually woke up is being generous, I was struggling for air so bad, I ended up rolling out of bed and landed on my back on a metal trashcan. I don't have insurance so I drove myself to the hospital rather then call and have to pay for an ambulance. Definately not the best night.
