* Smallest overall 12" Edition Size: Kit Fisto: 6,250

I also agree that Kit Fisto is the best one yet and that many of those who passed on him will likely kick themselves eventually.

One reason why Kits may be so low is because he was originally suppose to be the SDCC exclusive figure but once they saw how the line was going they offered him 4th and then quickly made the Sith Eyes Anakin from what I understand. With an edition size of around 6000 its the same as Sith Eyes Anakin.

Well I think Bibs regular edition may not be to much over 5000 which would make him about 7500 total. I just dont think he selling too well.

The thing I want to know is how many Jabbas and Jabbas Thrones are they going to sell. The Throne set is still the number 1 best seller after 4 weeks of ordering.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging the job SSC did on the Bib figure. I think it's a fine figure and I ordered one as well. I just find him to be, by far, the most "meh" character they have announced/released so far and like EVILFACE I am perplexed by his humongous Exclusive edition size. But like I said, I can accept that this is more due to the Jabba Environment than the Bib character itself.

This is a surprise to me. However, while you can get all of the figures through retailers, the only way to get the throne is directly through Sideshow. Considering the expense of the whole setup, there are probably a lot of people who could only afford it by skipping the exclusives, finding the very best deals around on the figures, and paying full price for the throne from Sideshow.

That makes complete sence. The only thing is I hope people dont get the enviroment and realize Jabba and the creatures arent with it. Im sure some people are stupid enough not to realize that.

Has there be any other Jabba figures/sculptures/statues released that did not come with the throne? That could be the reason for it's popularity.

Sadly you're correct people aren't smart enough to realize this. Which is why these have to be placed on products. It's amazing what we have to have explained to us isn't it?:lol

I hop SW doesn't keep me from getting a T2 Sarrah Conner.

I couldn't agree more.

... it's weird that he has such a larger edition size than so many superior figures. In fact, of all of the 1:6 figures announced so far Bib Fortuna is by far the one I am least excited about. I think his numbers were very inflated by SSC (and us collectors) going crazy over the whole Jabba's Palace environment.

I suppose that as more and more people hear about this line, the edition sizes are increased to accommodate new buyers. Certainly the Inclusive Editions are giving SS a better idea of just how many buyers are out there for immediate purchase. Perhaps by this time next year we will see edition sizes of 25,000 pieces.

* SSC Star Wars completists have ordered some $5,170.83 worth of product (plus tax, shipping) so far.[/COLOR]

Any other ideas on what could be tracked?

WOW!! How many completists out there? That's a lot of dough. I certainly won't be completing a collection any time soon :lol

Cheers,

Brad

I am a completist, but only a 1:6 completist so I imagine I have't quite spent that much yet.

Only about $715... closer to $1,000.00 if you've also ordered Jabba's Throne Environment and the other Accessory Packs. :monkey5

You will.... Oh yes, there will come a day when you realize that you have spent more then that! :lol

I'm a completist so far on the 12" line (including accessories). On the PF side, I never ordered (and don't want) Grievous, and I missed out on the exclusive Han, but I have all of the other exclusives (plus a regular Han from a 15% off second chance). However, even though I have the Luke/Yoda piece and the Fett piece on order, I may end up cancelling them. I haven't decided yet.

On the 1:1 bust line? Fuggedaboudit. :) That's just too rich for my blood, as they say. Now, if some kind soul wanted to buy them for me, I certainly wouldn't refuse their generous offer. :D

Oh, and I just had to quote my favorite of the cautionary labels Tom posted:
