First episode was great. Second, not so much.

Loved the alternate universe where Mark paralysed Eve, and that Radiohead sequence was sooooo good.

I remember being shocked when the first episode aired. This series is def brutal. It always disturbs me when superheroes die. Especially in horrible ways like that

Especially cause they don’t build up to it ir make it obvious that it’s gonna happen. People just die.

Sometimes you try your best and it’s just not enough.

But in the end you only get better lol

It's a shame no one else here seems to be watching this... missing out on once of the best superhero pieces of media around.
I actually have been. My reaction to it was similar to The Boys -- at first I thought "Okay a violent, edgy take on Superheroes, bla bla bla" ... I had started to read the comics but got kind of fatigued on comics in general and couldn't be bothered to catch up on all of it.

But while The Boys has been a little uneven for me (there's a lot of shock stuff that I get bored of sometimes) I feel like Invincible is better; it definitely retains a Saturday morning cartoon feel at times but I think that's by design? Anyway I've been following it and enjoy it.

Invincible is definitely better than The Boys imo, I love them both but Invincible just gives me those more classic superhero feelings that I got from the old Spider-Man cartoons etc. whilst taking it to a new level. It definitely has more depth than The Boys, that show is definitely more satire.

I think Mark Grayson is one of the best superheros around. I enjoy experiencing his growth.

And yeah I like the "saturday morning cartoon" feel that you mention. It has a lot of moments of levity or where you could be forgiven for forgetting that this a mature story for adults, but when the time comes it take itself seriously and you feel the weight of it.
