Just freed my Mk VI from the box for some pics in the upcoming Maybang acrylic case for 1/4 scale statues. The case will be up on Sideshow's site soon, so keep an eye out for it. Here are some pics:

Wow, these cases looks great. SSC is going to sell these acrylic cases? What's this one going to be retailed for?

the case for 1/6th figures is $99 so you can bet the one with the iron man and war machine maquettes in them is gonna cost a pretty penny...my guess is in the $250 range.

That's really not that bad of price considering the work that goes into one of them, and they've got lights as well. Now the next question is how much for shipping

Not really a good deal with the price of 1 $300.00 you can get 3 Detolfs plus the lights.

Yeah I know, but the Detolf will not be completely dust free or have three different color glowing edges on the glass. And you'll never be able to get both Mk vi and WM on the same shelf on the Detolf. Since Mk vi and WM
look so good displayed together, I just don't have the heart to separarte them.

I have dust free case, but I found that will be strong smell when open it after didn't do so for sometime. It happen to 1/6 HT figure, not sure about statue. Do you think it is better to have gap to let fresh air flow in/out?

I like gap free display cases because I still have to dust inside of my Detolf and curio. The smell is all good to me--Helps to preserve the new statue/figure smell.

All good points and you won't find high quality acrylic cases anywhere else cheaper. This is the going rate for these box setups.
