my carnage (broken hand as well) and replacement...both had paint issues...and i decided to give up on another replacement and keep mine....the quality has definitely not improved in my eyes, since ironman mark vi maquette quality issues

Damn that sucks! I admit I would expect more problems with Carnage than most pieces...

Despite the small problems this is one of Sideshow's best pieces and when War Machine comes out it's going to be an epically amazing display! Then add the rest of the movie-Avengers it's going to be even better. The Premium Formats Avengers won't stand a chance!

Iron Man is one of the best pieces ever IMO. I really meant it when in my review I said that. I've been collecting this high end stuff for a while now and seeing or owning quite a few pieces it really still blows me away. War Machine is equally as good. The PF's are amazing as well. Thor and Cap are two of the best and I do wish I had them honestly. Thats why I bought the Bucky Barnes Cap PF because of reading the comics and how cool it will look.

I may not be an Avengers fans but I don't think so. IM and War Machine maquette are nice but the more version they make, especially from a movie, the less valueable they become. I missed the first IM movie and I also missed this maquette but I am glade I didn't start collecting another character. Except IM Hulkbuster of course.

If that's the case, I have to admit IM maquette are cool pieces...the best lights-up features made. I just can't imagine collecting the various version and the paints issue.
