The MK VI is easily the best of the movie suits with close relations to what would be the Sliver Century Armor. I've never liked the comic armor too much metal looking spandex...

Being that IS from a movie is why this is not iconic, same would go for HULK, I wouldn't like the HULK movie statue as much as a Kirby design.

Then you never were a IM fan but are today because of latest trend.

Well I guess I'm not a fan too. I don't like the oldschool IM. The new mark VI has an awesome look and feel to it.

I read all the comics growing up and I've never liked the art or most of the story lines. I've always have problems with The Hulk, Superman, Wolverine being invincible and other flaws in the comics.

Classic IM Comiquette is still the better character design, but this statue has the better pose. Can't go wrong with either one though, IMO, but in general I'm with Skiman: comic >>> movies

Having said that, Iron Man is one of the very few characters that is almost as good in movie form, though, since the movie design didn't screw around with the modern comic design too much.

I love Iron Man but not the biggest fan of the classic design. Its one of the weakest looking ones. I do love the movie designs and the way the translate but my favorite one is actually his newest suit which he just got in the Invincible Iron Man issue 25.

I personally think the Ex head looks silly on that Iron Man. But it is cool how he can hold the helmet.
