Same here mate, must be an EU thing, I get a notice saying my card is getting charged the next day or sommat like that  its crazy.
I don't think i've ever had a 25 day notice....ah well.
x :peace

I had lots of 25 days notices back in the days. There where even 18 days notices, and 5 day notices if I remember correctly. Back in the days.
Now, we only get this 'we'll charge your CC in 2 days, so make sure you have enough cash at the ready' mails... .
Yes, the times they are a changing...

I guess I will take it for granted then.... me2 but I wanna know WHY!!!!! :lol

I guess the main reason would be Marvel, everyone loves a hero & like the Iron-Man comiquettes a nice shiny metallic statue looks so good in your collection. The Iron Spidey was so cool.

Hulk ES is 1000 and it had reached $900+ :)
LOTR Lurtz is ES at 750 and it's commanding above $500+ for it
Iron Man Stealth ES at 1250...and it went for $700+
and the list goes on :)

so...it's not impossible with an ES of 750. who knows...it may or may not become a holy grail.

I don't know with a ES of 750+

The term "Grail" especially on these boards is beyond played out. The reality is the next "Grail" will be something that flies under the radar and is missed by many then deemed a necessity within a collection. The Doom PF for example hung out on the SSC site for a long time and there are many acknowledged grails that have done the same. I don't think this Iron Spider-Man will be much of a grail itself but it will be an awesome piece that will stand out in a collection without a doubt.

Totally agree. Still remember when I had the chance to get the X-Men v Sentinel #1 for under GBP200 shipped... I passed it for months :banghead

Still this Spidey comiquette -- especially the EX -- is going the be a huge hit. Everybit bit as popular as Thor imo, if not even more

agreed, the G word should be banned from the boards imo.
i can't wait for this piece to arrive and was the one piece that i was looking forward to the most this year, (so far:lol) but as for becoming a grail, i highly doubt it.
we'll see a quick spike like we usaully do with these pieces, and maybe if the economy were better they might stay there, but it will only be short lived.

look at thor a truely magnificient piece that can be had now for a very reasonable price. of course wait for when the movie comes out, and maybe the same could be said for IS, when the next two spidey flicks come out.

comparing grails to newly released pieces is nuts. i mean a doom pf vs IS. at least at this point, isn't even fair to poor old spidey:(

agree totally the ex. for this one is the only way to go. will be interested to see the price difference between the reg and ex. down the road.

Don't forget...

Spider-man fans will be chasing after this one....
Iron Man fans will be chasing after this one...
Captain America fans will be chasing after one...

If not the first year...maybe the following year. New collectors entering the Marvel statue as a hobby in the future will be looking to add it in their collection.

Even if it doesn't retain its value, I'll still be one happy collector to own this piece and be proud to display it. If it goes up in value, then it's just an extra bonus.

I don't think you will ever be seeing another Grail (ray) Hulk again.

One factor, SS has attained a much broader fan base since then. By raising the ES, they raise their revenue.

I don't get why people even debate what the next 'grail' piece will be. I mean, there's always someone who knows a little bit more insight or knowledge than anyone else  so why bother?

Like Mike pointed out... it'll probably be something completely unexpected.

Yes and no. Modern Civil War fans will be chasing it but overall most hardcore Spider-Man fans are looking for a 60s era John Romita styled Spider-Man over this without a doubt. Most hardcore Spider-Man fans would opt for the Back in Black costuming over the flash in the pan Iron Spider. Captain America fans will not be looking to this, other than the shield it doesn't play into their angle. Being a hardcore Iron Man fan I can see where you might make the argument that its a STARK creation so its deserves a place in the armory but in reality unless its worn by Stark, Rhodes and now apparently Potts, it won't fall in the same category and I don't see them chasing it.

I'm getting it because I like the look ties Spidey and Iron Man nicely and I enjoyed Civil War but Spidey has worn armor before

and I see that being more of a pull to Spidey fans than this.

The only way I see this becoming a grail is because people had to cancel due to the economy and later on it become that piece you want so it get a flare up but other than that I really think no.
