Changed the saber arms out. Loving it this way! So much presence with this one. Without the saber it allows more room and IMO it looks more menacing. Also messing around with the cape a bit more as well. You could spend hours on the cape alone futzing away. Each little tweak you make can easily add or take away from the piece. Cannot say anything bad about this one. Pure art!View attachment 378177
That's what I love about this most. I have the other arms stored away as I really like the promo pose. But i can't wait to switch it up and totally change the appearance of this statue. It really is just perfection, I can't get over it.

The first piece I took out was the helmet and as soon as I felt the weight of that thing I knew I was in for something special.

I've seen and held the sideshow piece and while I think it's cool the difference is night and day feeling the helmet on that one

I’d always liked to think that with SS Vader’s and SS just being a large American company, that they got it wrong on purpose. Because they knew they had the license for a while and were going to make multiples, so a gradual progression towards a more refined product in the end.

So they could make it slightly better and sell more.

I just don’t see how you can get a masked suited character like Vader wrong, unless you were doing it on purpose?

But who knows..

Well, it came a day early, and, as everyone has said... words can never truly describe how damn good this thing is.

I've been collecting since the very beginning (yes, I'm an old mongrel), and I can honestly say there has never been a Vader (that I have seen) that comes close to this thing.

The Power, the weight (metaphorical, not physical), the presence... everything about this statue is the perfect personification of the character.

Is it 100% screen accurate? No. But it's so awe-inspiring, that only the most OCD fan would be unhappy. (And saying that, I'm one of those OCD fans - which is saying something about how amazing this piece is).

Truly, a once in a generation masterpiece.

Like everyone has also said; if you can get yours hands on this, whatever you do, make it happen!

Quick iPhone pic (I'll do some good shots on the weekend).

Great review. This is the greatest Vader yet made.
Love the photo too. It's funny, I own this piece, but I love seeing others photos of it. :hi5:

Congrats!

It's stunning. I keep calling my wife down to look at. Lol

Like this is above and beyond anything I've owned collectable related.

Thing puts out a good amount of light.

Wtf Iron??? I check ETA for my local distributor and its set to 3/2018 .... Really ??????? Ooouch :(((

Seems all EU shops and some other international distributors will have these statues available only in March or April 2018. A very loooong delay, and curious to see about replacements, if those would be necessary.

Why not just buy the x4 version & just not put one of the extra dummy batteries in or am i missing something? It's about half the price of the batteryeliminatorstore version...

You are missing something. Because the batteries are 'dummies' the voltage is determined by the AC adapter itself. The x4 version would output 6V, which is too much for the statue (x3 AAs = 4.5V).
