A couple of people on facebook had theirs ship today and they are expecting it on Friday! I've preemptively asked them for pics

Oh boy oh boy oh boy......i get billed Friday. If it actually ships tomorrow should have Monday or Tuesday.

Ok...let's start a list of concerns:
1. No Plug (almost guaranteed)
2. Too much plastic (50/50 chance)
3. Chest plate doesn't light up.
4. The light up light saber has it's own switch, the chest plate has it's own switch and the base has it's own switch (unless Darth Maul where saber light is switch in base)
5. Coin batteries instead of AAA of AA like Han in Carbonite......

I think the no AC plug is almost guaranteed. No pics or video showed one. In the video that looks like a button, but I hope I am wrong.

This is my first Iron Studios piece. I had the Sideshow Vader PF years ago, but ended up selling it because I had no good way of displaying him. Since then I have never really been blown away by any other Vader pieces, but this one did just that. Not to mention the price and edition, there was no way I was passing him up.
I got my early arrival notice, but have to wait as we wouldn't be here when it would ship and I am taking no chances of not being here for delivery. Plus, the less time in the hands of a delivery man, the better.

If this doesn't have lights on the chest then I can imagine people are going to be very upset. I so want to pre order but not with SS NRD since there is no word on any of these concerns.

he does has lights on the chest...belt... even the light on the base does light up ..

This is true to a certain extent. I do however go back and look them over while cleaning lol I do really ignore and admire them here and there. Good post

The chest will light up, that was one of the main selling points in Iron studios video. That they studied screen used props to insure that the chest box has the same sequence as used in Empire. No need to panic just yet. I for one love statues and figures that have LED light up features or even sounds. It just adds to my overall enjoyment. I can see how it will have an even greater impact with a character like Vader. Seeing his glowing bright red light saber and chest/belt lit up in my dimly lit man-cave is going to be bad ass. I can't wait!
