None of my damn business but I am now mildly curious what this is about? What's the issue with kitana posting his youtube stuff on here, others do it all the time?

I enjoy the statue videos he uploads and will continue to watch. The more videos the better.
Just googled the issue, and doesn't really bother me. Collectors/YouTubers get banned from various Facebook groups from time to time for what people deem infringements, and no one can be 100% sure of the facts.

It's not about him posting his youtube videos here, that's totally fine. It's about the **** he pulled with fellow collectors.
If it doesn't bother you that's great. It does bother me, especially coz I don't wanna be in that kinda situation with such expensive collectibles. And he wasn’t banned for what people "deemed infringements" he was banned for trying to scam for around 10 people including very colourful stories as to why he couldn’t refund money immediately. I also find it worrisome when 1 person with that kinda history posts with two different acconts on the same thread acting as if they're different people but please, continue talking about the beautiful statue of WS here. I was just surprised, that's all.

Agree the more vids the better! I think IS *may* be trying to do better w. more vids? but IMO not only did *happy* buyers like me have to get over the Spidey stories, IS never out out IMO much info on these pieces....
oh well....couldn't take advantage of an SSC early shipping but just paid off Bucky # 2 and he's shipping

What was interesting was the CS rep indicating that Bucky WOULD be inspected before shipping, gently hinting at previous IS issues.I said I knew about the previous issues, but images of the dio pieces going online recently had been pretty outstanding. E.g., SSC is really on top of IS for these dio pieces.
Meanwhile, crossing my fingers for another perfect piece.

I was wondering if this guy was out yet! Glad to see some in-hand photos. I never did decide if I wanted him or not. Wish I didn't hate the base so much.

Yeah, LOL, I kinda feel like an unpaid Iron Studios publicist putting what pics I can find up
...I mean compared to Sideshow's lavish videos etc. Maybe it's different in Brazil as IS seems to have 3 "concept stores" + seem to be well known there.
Anyway, I'll post when Bucky #2 shows up supposedly this week, but for now out of 3 outstanding IS pieces Bucky #1 is actually the most perfect. And I am talking uber nitpicks. My Falcon has a red painted metallic line on the left wrist band that could be .001 bit straighter. I think here and there on the handle side my Falcon's wings could have been assembled .1 more neatly. Two of my BP's claws are a bit off from the scratch marks (and the face not being screen accurate re missing white lines).
WS #1 is perfect
. Outstanding sculpt, clean paint, even the tiny bullet in the magazine is perfect. There's not the slightest hint of messiness anywhere. Beautifully detailed rifle. Even all the male/female joins of all the figs are cleanly molded. Strong magnets on all three. Initially I fussed about Bucky's hair not being fine sculpted enough (the "pasta hair") but in hand it's great sculpted detail. No googly eyes or harsh paint on the faces of Falcon and Bucky. Finely detailed hands on all three pieces. Subtle skin textures, unbelievable leather/cloth/metal textures.Seems like IS worked overtime to correct the Spidey fails
re assembly/materials etc. w. this dio. Or - WS is my favorite MCU character but if I thought IS dropped the ball he would have been returned already and I sure wouldn't be buying a second one. Hard to believe this is production work
. I actually love the base - the "degraded industrial" look and it's like, as a stand-alone, Bucky has his own display pedestal that fits neatly on a (sturdy) shelf. The base is perfectly painted too - looks like real metal and bolts. Most definitely not a ton of defects - my WS doesn't have ANY and I went over and over the piece, looking. Only know of one person w. an issue - Insta comments all seem pretty happy.Iko Iko

- and Sideshow CS rep did "diplomatically" tell me they are inspecting the WS they are sending out (e.g., when I called as to why they couldn't instantly ship him. LOL she was really trying to be delicate about the way she phrased things, poor woman). And she was emphatic about instantly contacting them if there were any problems. (Sounds like SSC really has pinned IS to the wall over this dio LOL

Popcultcha has about 6 pieces left of the Falcon, but they're out of stock on Bucky. And they've always sold Falcon for $1,199.99 AUD, that hasn't changed. But they did increase the price on Black Panther not long after it came into stock.
I don't really know if they check before shipping, but I do know that they do that for local full replacements.

Not this piece in particular - but apparently ALL Iron Studios pieces that they offer are being checked before shipping by SSC. Details from SSC are vague, but from direct correspondence/online chatter seems like SSC, after the 1/4 Spiderman, has simply decided to check any IS piece before shipping. And so shipping Falcon was delayed by SSC re reported "entire shipment of Falcon had broken wings and/or paint issues" and IS fixing that issue.
Far as I know, only one issue w. Bucky and that wasn't SSC; another member received a BP w. apparent shipping damage I think from PopCultcha.
That said, so far I've had 3 great pieces from Pop and those were shipped unchecked. Re Falcon it's possible that the U.S. shipment had shipping damage (if so, it must have been severe, because Falcon's wings are pretty strong).
I know after Spidey I was REALLY nervous about IM
- but IS also had put out some stellar stuff w. no issues (Magneto and the 1/10s; IronMan and what is often considered the best 1/4 Cap) so eventually I jumped in, and I am glad.
. Even the metal posts and Falcon wings have metal tubes you slot pieces into. It just "feels like" IS sat down and re-engineered - or maybe SSC chewed them out after Spidey - IS is a fairly young business but re direct e-mail seem to have pride in what they are trying to do. Feels like they had some growing pains - I think. Like knowing you HAVE to stay on top of your QC.

I mean, sure, I could find issues. But I'd have to REALLY nitpick to do so. I'd have to go beyond what I think is reasonable.

I'm 4/4 so far with this gorgeous IS line. Not a single problem yet. Worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.

- but this is production work and IMO still looks stellar - for me I'd think the next step up would be custom work $$$$$. Congrats on two gorgeous pieces (I mean four).

I'm an artist by trade, if that helps qualify my opinion
But you're right, to improve these pieces would require custom work; a painter working JUST on the one piece for a number of hours, rather than needing to divide his time between 400 pieces.Sweet!! *___*It felt like Christmas today

Winter Soldier just shipped! Can't wait. Now the big decision - do I try to get Falcon (at a steep price and knowing my available space is scarce) OR do I just get Captain America and go with a mini 2-person diorama? All of these awesome pictures of Falcon are making the decision tough.

Nah you gotta get Falcon it's a masterpiece! Can't believe there are not any video reviews up on him. But at least the pictures speak for themselves. Bucky looks solid also. Both stand out pieces
