Ok got Iron Studios Wolverine today.. The base leaves a lot to be desired.. The round part that Wolverine sits on is fine. Not perfect but not bad at all. The piece that connects with the base is garbage though and I will not be using it.

Wolverine on the other hand is perfect and is IMO the best costumed wolverine that is out there now (XM Weapon X is best overall IMO)

Sculpt, paint, and detail are all 10 out of 10. Such a dynamic piece.. I did not plan on liking the unmasked sculpt but it's my second fav and will be using it for sure. The more modern mask is my fav but the Classic mask is nice also..

Maybe it's just me, but the biceps is way too big comparing to the rest of the body. Way too weird for my taste.

Art is subjective! The arms do look Popeye ish. But that doesn’t mean it’s out of proportion. His thighs look thick also. So has some balance. The pose is fantastic that leaping forward style is really nice. It’s simply done better than their Weapon X. Even the hairs on his arms look better.

For some reason I thought the same base was used twice. But it’s a broken and aged version of the weapon X base. Which again looks better also. Great review JAWS. It was a real eye opener. This will probably go down as the most underrated piece this year, over looked due to so many Wolverine pieces being made probably

Yes art is subjective.. He is a very muscular Wolverine.. But that is a very Jim Lee style.. Personally I love the big arms and think that he looks just fine proportionately.

The longer I have the more I actually start to like the base.. I still don't like the "tower" part and that is locked away in the box never to be seen again

As of now I think this is the 2nd best Wolverine on the market.. Behind the Weapon X by XM.. Looks like XM Brown Wolverine may take the 1st or 2nd place spot when that comes out leaving this at third. SSC piece will have a chance but the open mouth rage sculpt, classic suit, a better looking unmasked sculpt, and a pretty darn great classic head sculpt will keep the IS version at third place for me.

SSC base is amazing though and I love the pose and the sculpt on his arms is amazing.. I hope I don't fall in love after In hand pics come out forcing me to choose.. "There can be only one"... In my collection anyways

It is a damn awful time to be a Wolverine fan. Like Magneto there are so many being made. I’m just glad I’m not too fussed over the customs also. Some of those look great too.

Sideshow fixed the lean and everyone is happy again lol. I hope they deliver I really do. I’m going for Brown Costume Wolverine as I love the theme more than Sideshows piece.

After seeing video reviews and pictures of this guy, it has grown on me a lot. I wouldn’t be against owning it at all but I have XM Weapon X and Xm classic yellow and black version already. Plus I have Sideshows coming in soon and XM Brown Wolverine and in another scale the 1/6 Wolverine vs Juggernaut diorama from iron studios so that’s some of the reasons I’m not getting this statue.

I agree The Iron Studios piece is better. The XM piece is not that great. The claws are inaccurate. When you compare that XM piece with other Wolverine pieces it slightly misses the mark for some reasons. XM have improved drastically so holding their Brown Costume Wolverine delivers

Yes XM has greatly improved since then.. Brown costume Wolverine looks to be killer. XM may hold the #1 and 2 spot for Logan/Wolverine statues after that release.
