You can thank Sideshow for that whole debacle. Seems they complained to Disney because it is superior to their lousy statue.

Excellent. Invoice from Popcultcha showed up today - so paid off and hope to have this in hand soon. A couple of my 1/4 Marvel statues were from Popcultcha - including CW Falcon - and I had good luck, hope my luck holds.

In the past for me anyway Popcultcha was fast and efficient, so will see. For me this is the *quintessential* Mando piece; can't really see getting any more Mando poly at the moment anyway. Now I get to pray it shows up in good condition

Apparently they got 72 of the 750 made. Mine is 259/750.

Helmet looks great and Grogu looks much better in hand.

Sorry to bombard the thread - but damn, I love this thing! I've got that same buzz as when I got their Vader. Similarly, Mando is really "solid" - in that, his arms, legs, torso, etc - just looks (like the Vader), like a really solid dude.

If anyone is on the fence - don't hold back, you won't regret it! It's the definitive Mando statue (so far )

Nah, I felt a whole lot better about having to come up with a big chunk of change (for me) after seeing these pics and vids. I wasn't expecting to pay up until fall.

But it's all good, am a fan of Iron Studios since the spectacular Marvel Civil War pieces, and just seeing all the color washes and fluid sculpt of this - for me it's perfection. When Iron Studios is on, think they are unbeatable at any price except customs. There's just this ENERGY about their pieces. A while back with the CW pieces I looked up one of the sculptors; he was known for his "natural" sculpts of animals and nature.

I think that knowledge of form comes through with IS. Think SSC has turned out some good stuff, but for me their competition piece - nope.

That’s kinda crazy they only got that many and it still took like forever for their preorders to sell out.

Iron Studios I think isn't as well known or splashy as some other companies; they are relatively new as well. Plus the 1/4 scale is never cheap, and even some of their 1/10s are getting up there.

But Sideshow didn't help things by being whiners and not offering both versions of Mando. So anyone like BBTS who gets stuff from Sideshow couldn't offer it either.

Thank you! I wonder if someone can make a small piece covering that peg for those that want an option of not displaying Grogu. I don't mind him but options would be nice. Statue looks great though, congrats!!!
