:lol

Well, the Spartans used to fight naked. If you had 300 naked men running at you screaming, unless you're Tim Gunn or Kara, you'd run too!
I remember looking in a book and the drawings of the Spartans were naked but I want to know did they choose to fight or did they not have clothes?

They chose to fight that way. Nothing to grab on to. They wore armor and had weapons, but absolutely no clothes. Watching MMA, you can see the difference it makes when BJJ, Judo, Aikido fighters and the like use the opponents' gis for chokes, locks, throws, etc.

Lol dang I didn't know that. I remember hearing about their fighting styled on The Deadliest Warrior tho.

Wow! That body is shot. Never seen one this badly damaged. Must have been in some extreme poses that one? Or played with?
With the body in that state, it doesen't really seem to matter what you try.

I think some sort of clear silicone seam sealer might be you're best bet? Might be the closest match to the material you wanna fix.
Super glue is more likely to cause hardening on the body. But if you wanna try super glue, I'd suggest Loctite Flex Gel as it has rubber in it.
+ I havent noticed any discoloration while using it.

Intrested to see if the body can be repaired.

Couldnt a HT Leonidas body be a pretty good swap?

A Leonidas body wouldn't be much of a fix? Would it? As stated, Batfreak doesen't want to spend $100+ on a new body...
and if one would be happy about the physique of the Leonidas body, it would be extremely hard to come by. Those bodys are long gone and the figure itself (as a whole) is already fetching 300+$ on evilbay.

Too late to post here. Just saw a PMC body end at 56USD on eBay. Would of been a close match...

Those are some nasty wounds. Looks like he brought a toothbrush to a knife fight.

Buying him like that was virtually just buying him for the accessories, as it would haunt me knowing he was standing on my shelf in that condition.

Do what Rambo would do: stitch the wounds together!

i didnt waste my money. the original hot toys rambo figures are extremly hard to come by and to buy them complete and undamaged is like 300- 400 bucks and im sorry if i dont think a 12" figure that i plan on taking out and displaying is worth all that money. i actually just bought the rambo 2 from someone on this site for only $115 shipped and that was awsome price and is complete with everything je came with. the ONLY problem is the tearing in certain parts of the rubber muscle. you can see some pics right here:

i feel bad about this but still it was a great deal and i thought maybe there is a way i can patch it up.

damn those are pretty nasty wounds there. don't know what the previous owner did with it, but damn. prolly put a shirt over it and it can be ok, but seeing how this is rambo, lol. but yeah man, i know a person that fixes vintage 12" figures. but he sends em to japan and have em fixed over there. of course it's pricey and the wait is around 3-5 weeks. but i've seen some of the results and it's nice. don't know if he does bodies though.

is there a gel way of maybe glueing it together? do you think super glue or crazy glue instead of that other stuff? or do you think the spray adhesive would be stronger?

Clear Silicone (Aquarium Sealant) Dries clear and remains elastic and can be removed once it drys.

seeing these pics got me scared for my hot toys rubber body buddies!!! i think i might pose them once and never move them again for it might rip... but for you man... replace the body no chance... it's silicone.... but if there's a will there's a way...

Don't be worried. This is really a problem with one figure in the whole hot toys lineup and even so, not all of them have this problem.

You could always make the tears into battle damage. Make a little dirt and blood -can't ruin the body anymore.
