The samples that I ordered arrived moments ago. Here is a photo. You would order one part from the left side and one part from the right side. They were very patient with me because I was definitely having difficulty communicating with them. I have been looking for super thin Velcro like this for a long time.

Thin velcro and leather are the platinum finds of customizers. Thanks for the info Steven

Also I picked up a skiver. Thins leather well although a bit more dangerous than a scalpel. Extremely sharp oiled blade - a smaller version of a carpet knife blade. Be careful to the amateurs, like myself, who are picking one up. It definitely needs some getting use to.

There was some dude that was making a Bantha a while ago, and he was giving fairly regular updates, then the trail went cold and he stopped updating. Hopefully Slikkerias will give more guidance on how to make one.

According to my latest email to them a few minutes ago, I believe that you can specify those numbers and the color that you want. In the latest email they said they have several different color options and planned to send me Color samples . It should be here in 2 to 3 weeks.

Could someone please post a pic of the stuff which was finally decided on. I might need to get some too.

I might also add that magnets are also an excellent way to attach things in custom work. They're also pretty cheap and come in all sizes and strengths.

Yeah, I use small neodymium magnets to solve a variety of little issues. They are a great tool to have in your arsenal.

I believe this is about the thinnest I?ve been able to find. I have piles of other stuff that was thicker but that was all I found at the time.
