Is SideShow affiliated with Hot Toys?

Just curious. Are they more like a distributor for Hot Toys products?

They are an official Hot Toys distributor. SS has also shared their Star wars lisence with HT to where HT can make older figures that SS has already done I believe is the agreement from what I've heard. I think SS also shared their Indy lisence for HT to make the DX Indy I believe

Its more the other way around, HT is affiliated with Sideshow.
