Really? Sorry but I haven't been reading into the threads but was there an issue with paint? I really wanted this one too, what did you pick it up for if you don't mind me asking?
 
Oh, and my V1 Hot Toys Joker. That was my first HT fig, supposed to be my grail, but then HT release MMS DX and ruined it for me.

Don't get me wrong, TDK is my favorite superhero movie. But I don't need like 4 jokers in my shelf.
 
DC Direct Heath Ledger Joker Statue...
Sold at a ridiculous loss, did not know what Hot Toys was at the time... Now i cant have any joker in my collection because it reminds me of my loss. Not a bad statue, but it no longer fit my collection and had to go.

Well, if they got a good one, there's no reason to be complaining. It's actually quite awesome when the paint is in good condition.

I picked her up awhile ago & love the fig. First HT figure for me & I love it. Watched all the movies (ok as far as amime goes) so I like the character. Wrist & foot pegs are delicate, like all Ht figs but if you don't like it let it go - only thing is it's not a real in demand fig, so it will probably be at a loss.
 
SS Buffy Giles, head sculpt is OK and the glasses fit well, but eveything else just looks meh!
Not a bad figure, but it's not a line I've been completeist about, and he now seems a bit lost.

Have to admit Deunan and Bri are two of my all time faves, just look so cool on the shelf together.
 
I'll have to say, looking back on the last few years there's a lot of stuff that I regret getting, although most of it is cheaper stuff that I bought because it was on sale. For example, I bought a bunch of the NECA Pirates of the Caribbean figures when they were being clearanced out. I got good deals on most of them, but then I felt like I needed to get the ones that I had missed and it ended up costing more than it should have. Not to mention that I think they look like crap now that I have come to my senses. :rolleyes:

I also kind of regret getting all the Minimates that I bought (Battlestar Galactica, etc.) They're OK, but I just don't like them as well as Kubricks and I don't really want to display them so they just sit in a box.

In general I've been able to sell the more expensive stuff that I regret getting, and overall I think I've either come out ahead or broken even.
 
The Sideshow & Hasbro Star Wars Lines, apart from a few, they just take up way too much space and even now I find it hard to cut back ! When I think about the Money I spent . . . .
 
I dont regret anything I have gotten, but if there is one figure I could trade in for another it would be my Takara Batman, would trade it for a HT Batman.
 
-Takara bats:Ok this is a great figure but last year I bought the hottoys version than looks better..I think should sell the takara version soon.

-Hottoys Appleseed Tereus: Have Deunan and Briareros and looks great togheter but I do not like Tereus as character and have not connection with him :sick

-Hottoys AvP Chopper and Elder:I bought them for compleist the collection but actually do not like to me and spent a lot of money on them..:banghead

All sideshow Buffy stuff I bought long time ago

I realy like my Chopper. Second favourite Predator, Fourth favourite Hot Toy in my collection!
