Is this the best Indy figure?

You would be surprised. It takes a lot of work and money to make Sideshow Indy look good. After custom work for decent clothing, accessories, and repaint, you're looking at a $400+ figure. Most people don't want to bother with the effort, time, and cost. Then take a look at HT Wolverine. I would gladly pay $200+ for a HT Indy that features the same type of realistic appearance that made it out of the factory (including detailed body, accessories, clothing, etc.).

Justin, you're talking a handfull of people though. Most just accepted the figure as is. As for HT's Wolverine, that's a failed comparison. While the body and clothes are good (the boots are a FAIL!), the likeness is WAY off. At HT's price, that's inexcusable. And while you would gladly pay $200+ for an HT Indy, would you single-handedly purchase enough to make it cost effective for HT? Remember, this forum represents only a small niche of the collector market, and HT would need to sell MUCH more to break even, let alone turn a profit.

Best because I seriously doubt HT will touch Indy. They could've just as easily scooped up the Asian license when Medicom dropped it, but they didn't. Sideshow's Indy isn't selling well enough at $90. I doubt HT's would sell well enough at $180 to justify it.

LMFAO! When Hot Toys releases Indy in their Movie Masterpiece line everybody will be selling their Sideshow Indy's on ebay like we are seeing now with the T-800 Terminator.

Really bub, at least check your sources before making a blanket statement that has absolutely no foundation so you at least look smart enough to know what you're talking about.
