I will admit the thought of selling your statues is tough but once you do the first one, it's all downhill from there. You'll see if you ever need to. the whole experience is kind of like taking a breath after being under water for a long time. :)

I am sure you are right.....but for now I am keeping my fingers crossed that my financial woes will soon pass me by and I won't need to. The ones I would possibly part with are the ones that are worth the least amount of money so it wouldn't help me out very much......The thought of selling Doom or the Hulk is something I'm not even ready to consider.

True enough. I have a 20 y/o clothes dryer. It still works fine, but I don't really trust it....I bought a new $300 authentic Capitals, Ovechkin jersey instead

Nice! I am getting a game worn Alexander Edler jersey from my dad for my Birthday. He just doesn't know yet. :)

I know just how you feel, Rory. I've been trying to save up enough money for some of the big things coming, but then I went to the dentist (just for a routine cleaning!) last week, and found out that one of my childhood fillings has turned on me, and the damage may be so bad that they might need to put a crown on the tooth.

Kiss $400 goodbye! :monkey2

ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING! has been with me all this year, i dont know why but 2007 is damn unlucky.

Get those teeth crowned people, so i can keep making them.

So are you saying that you are from the UK and have a teeth related job? From the looks of it, I didn't think that profession existed there....

Ouch!!! :lol :lol :lol

On a side note, I was just checking completed auctions on ebay for SSC LOTR statues/figures and pretty much everything I bought is worth half of what I originally paid for it. Now that really hurts. :monkey2

Drum roll:lol Were improving big time, every child get free braces and i get to make alot crown and bridges beacause of people vanity. You get to pick a Hollywood Smile perfect teeth or a London Smile not so perfect.

DAYUM! I am so happy to run into this thread! I thought I was the unlucky one in this life. YES, IT IS ALWAYS SOMETHING!

I just spent $960 in just REMOVING a huge tree in our backyard because the past storm we had caused it to lean against our fence, which was causing it to buckle under the weight. If it gave out, the entire tree would have fallen in our neighbor's backyard, and we can't be having that!

Now I am in Jen's position that I have about $300 to last me the rest of October, so I may have to start trimming the fat and make some cancellations.

Now I am fearing about my car and appliances now, because of you guys! :monkey4

I don't have a car. I don't have a house. I don't even have a girl friend, and I still aint got no money. What's with that?

WORD..........

and you smell! This is probably why you don't have a girlfriend....:lol And since you don't have any money, you don't have a house or a car because you can't get a job....because you stink. :lol

So all you have to do is take a shower and then all your dreams will come true. :lecture

I sold some stuff on eBay and then I had to turn right around and use the money to buy a new lawnmower and edger.

I just had to laugh because the same happened to me last week. I sold some stuff myself and it ended up being spent at Target. :banghead

yep sold some Marvel stuff and had to turn around and buy a 22" Samsung monitor because my girlfriend is studying too much in my living room and i wasn't able to play the 360. oh wait, i guess that's not a bad thing. :)

actually in addition to that i had to pay to get my doberman puppy's ears clipped, etc. and that was all around $500 so yep it goes out as soon as it comes in.

my sister is moving back from Cali. and will have to stay with me until she gets a house so I should have some extra income with the rent, etc. i charge her....maybe she'll move in before the Power Loader ships and I won't feel as bad about getting it.
