Enjoyed this movie thoroughly. It pays to watch all parts of the screen instead of just watching the main action. Definitely for folks that enjoy stuff like Resolution, House of the Devil and The Innkeepers. 9/10
Probably not for most on this forum, though. Pretty much no gore. More atmosphere than anything. A real slow burn of a movie. Most forum members want to watch "check your brain at the door" flicks.

Best horror film in a long, long time imo. Absolutely loved the score as well :rock

I heard about this awhile back and was intrigued. My buddy saw it and said it was worth watching. I honestly havent seen a truly great scary movie in years so I'm hoping this ends up doing something for me.

Just saw this and really enjoyed it...the soundtrack is great, the movie is all atmosphere, and maybe trying too hard to be "artsy" but it really is very creepily beautiful. So much is alluded to without showing it and I liked that. My only problem was some things didn't make sense within the rules they had created, but still looked cool or were scary.

I liked it, thought it had a great creep factor going. I have a kind of oddball interest in movies like these so... I actually liked the ending as well. It isnt probably what most would like though. It did leave things open, but I thought it served a purpose if you think about how the main actress and her friends brother felt about each other.

It was ok. Me and the wife redboxed it the other night. No real scares IMO, just creepy. The soundtrack was good. I had to laugh at the fact that IT gets passed around by having sex. Which is one of horror movie cliche's.

Not a bad flick. I'd give it a 7/10 maybe an 8.

Funny in that the classic horror trope is that the virgin survives, but this movie rewards being promiscuous. I thought it was a good, memorable film. Of course, it's all about atmosphere, but it takes good directorial chops to make that work, and it did work well for me. Some of it was a bit baffling, particularly the ending

Why did they think they could kill it by electrocuting it, anyway? It got shot point blank in the head and just kept on coming after them.

But this wasn't a movie that succeeded because it was logically coherent. One thing I really liked was the "lived in" tone, despite obvious fictions like the idea that kids in a pseudo-modern time would be watching old black and white movies.

Reminds me of Fallen somewhat. The entity could just keep switching bodies. The only hope being trapping it inside just one and it would have worked if not for that dang cat.

I wonder how much time the person being followed could buy himself by moving to Australia from the US, for example.

I watched this movie with my friends. Movie is interesting...i'm still not sure what happened but it keep me interested and it was creepy! Although I don't know why she would drive all the way to the woods in the dark, and alone, and then sleep on top of the car's hood.
