My Mom LOVES that song and film...I've seen it more then once.

I have to stop laughing because it's not funny any more. I'm sorry for your loss.

I would watch a movie about how the world was worse without Hitler. The irreverence would be toxic, but I would love to watch the filmmakers kill themselves trying to make a convincing story out of it. A fine trainwreck in the making, right there.

As someone who is regularly accused of being Jewish, I won't stand for a well made movie about how the world was a better place with Adolf Hitler having lived in it. It's bad enough that Avatar was successful. Those people don't need any more encouragement.

Hey, look. 22,222. Make a wish!

I don't disagree with any of that, and I never said it wasn't a classic, but I still say the movie is little more than a seasonal distraction for most people these days and a sequel would generate very little interest.

Oh yeah, you're probably right sadly. I always knew of it as nothing more than a clichéd Christmas movie, until I actually watched it in my teenage years I thin and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Very underrated. I wasn't trying to put you down or suggest you were wrong, just felt that it's still relevant, even if most people don't view it that way. :peace

The biggest plot point of the film is that Avatar never got made. OH MAI.
