NO chance, it already says another Marvel release, thank god since its been about a week since the last one...

I wasn't giving Sideshow a choise in the matter.

Edit - And yeah...the Marvel statues are starting to smell the place up a litte.

I tend to agree with the Josh, but don't have the energy to counter every "oh noez, the Joe line is dead! REPENT! REPENT!" posting that constantly goes on here.

I know that many of you feel that Sideshow is "dooming the line" by spacing the releases out too far, and that your posting has some marginal chance of making them see the light and devoting all current statue-related resources to making 1/6 scale Joes. But there is really no evidence to suggest that the former is going to happen (the Joe line seems to be thriving and, in my opinion, doesn't have bandwagon fans like some other lines, who will get bored and leave if they don't get a new figure every 2 months--in fact, the slow release schedule might keep people from getting over-whelmed with the line), and the latter just isn't going to happen because it doesn't follow Sideshow's business model. But by all means, complain about it some more. I'm sure many will still be making the same arguments 2 years down the road, when the line is still going strong despite not having a new announcement every other week.

:goodpost: One thing I think you nailed is the bandwagon fans. Seriously, that hurts so many items out now. I think fans still expect like it was to be when the LOTR lines went crazy. Then you got how it was when the SW line went live with so many announcements all the time.

Those two things brought folks in looking at $$ or thinking things went crazy fast. I personally prefer a slower pace so I can really and truly get as many as I can and all the ones I want.

With SS track record, do you blame people that feel this line might die premature death? Isnt GI Joe And SW the only 1/6 line they have now?

Some people are pessimist by nature. I also tend to go with the fact that people just need something to harp on.

The line is dead is more of a joke then anything. My problem is that SS's strategy for 1:6th lines clearly hasnt worked and they seem be taking the same approach with this one, and I dont want the line to end, cuz I think its an awesome line. I know they wont listen to our mindless banter on here but thought we could change it up from the Flint should have his blow job face discussion :)

You'd be surprised then I guess what they pay attention to.

Though I would normally agree with you on this. I dont think in this case its pessimism. It has to do simply with what SS has done in the past. Im my case, I dropped every all the other lines (Even SW), and committed just to collect this one. So you see my dissapointment when we get NO JOE, in the newsletters.

I feel for you and all of us. This is the one line I'm really looking at getting virtually most of the figures announced. I want stuff to be announced as much as possible but stay where it doesn't overload with anything else I collect.

Double edge sword I suppose. :lol

The line is no more. Lock it up.

No Joe again tonight. But the Blackhole Stromtrooper more than made up for it. Sideshow gets a pass this week!

What the hell are they waiting for?

There has been 4 SW figures since the Ninja went up . . .

My assumption is that they simply do not have another Joe ready for reveal yet.

We can't rush perfection. This line has maintained an incredibly high standard of excellence. I would rather wait in order for that to be kept up than see Sideshow rush out a turd.

Of course they're not ready. All they have done are the pencil sketches they showed at SDCC.

But they have a Bunghole Stormtrooper up for PO.

They could at least show a silhouette or sometihing, anything.

Admittedly, I think they can give us SOME kind of teaser.

But honestly...how old are some of you guys with the gradeschool humor "Bunghole Stormtrooper" and "Butthole Stormtrooper". My 11-year-old son said "That is stupid, they sound like little kids". I firmly expect that adults can come up with much more adult humor based cutdowns for them.

Go back and try again. If you improve your insults, I'll let you in on what my son calls them (he hates them too). Now THAT (what he called them) is funny!

You honesty expect that grown men who collect toys to act like adults? :lol

LOL...no (my wife will vouch for the fact that I don't), but the humor should be a little more refined.

Sorry I didnt come up with something wittier for you, its a internet forum for toys, I didnt realize there was a standard

(insert pyramid of ass)
