Meh, no more speculation, ban Teemu and close Baroness and CC PF threads.... too much redundant information that means jacksmack.

I have spoken.... now let it be so.... :sancho

The future is wide open as far as previews isn't it?

Now that Baroness has gone up we don't have any indication of what the next PF will be do we?

For 12 inch figures we got confirmation of Shock Wave (a LONG time ago,) new SE and CC, Snow Job, and a "marine" figure correct? Or am I imagining that Snow Job was confirmed?

Snow job was said to be in development way back (the next Joe focus is "unique environment characters"..sets up Snow Job perfectly)

Destro is scheduled early 2012 reveal (according to Q n A)

A Marine was mentioned (Destro brings Gung-ho because of bulkier body)

Female body is coming (I bet Scarlet leads off now since we are getting PF Baroness)

That's news to me. I hope they don't do something stupid and recast beach head's sculpt.

I guess that marine is Leatherneck?

A doodle on a pinboard is considered "development" so who knows. :dunno

And the "marine" is long overdue (by what, 2 years now? :lol). But it could have dual meanings. :huh

As for the female Pro, I'm lumping that in with bigfoot sightings until it makes an appearance. :lol

Sideshow confirmed Snow Job was in "development" based on an Ask Sideshow question that was submitted by myself and answered...of course, I submitted that question shortly after Catalog 10 was released...that was what, two years ago?

I know Gung Ho is the "classic" marine but I'd actually rather see Leatherneck first. A lot of character in his cap, stache, M16A1/203, etc.

The "marine" statement was mentioned in the context of environments (paraphrasing from memory, but I believe the statement was "desert, jungle, and marine environments will be well protected"). I don't think Sideshow literally meant a "Marine" such as Gung Ho or Leatherneck, but as Nam mentioned, "marine" really has a dual meaning.

SO . . .

IF NOT . . . GUNG-HO or LEATHERNECK . . . THEN . . . DEEP SIX, SHIPWRECK, TORPEDO, WET SUIT?

Maybe a COBRA EEL or LAMPREY?

2012 hopefully will be the year that the new muscle body will finally be unveiled which will finally mean . . . DESTRO, GUNG-HO, & ROAD BLOCK for starters. In addition, female figures (i.e. SCARLETT, THE BARONESS, LADY JAYE).

Since the "jungle" satellite recovery diorama is on the horizon . . . maybe . . . RECONDO?

Both the desert and jungle portions of Sideshow's statement have come to fruition. Dusty and the Cobra Weapons cache are the figure / environment for the desert, and Stalker (while not the jungle specialist, per se) and the satellite recovery diorama are for the jungle.

It would be nice to have another video teaser where we are teased with additional figures in the background a la the Hawk teaser (where we were shown Hawk and given a glimpse of Rock N Roll in the background).

^, I hope so, especially Snow Job (winterish).

I hope Sideshow doesn't feel us Joe fans have gotten enough Joe news for the end of the year (Black Dragon Ninja and the Baroness PF during Black Friday week).

While not Recondo, I would easily classify Stalker as more than qualified to operate in the jungle. Especially given tours in Nam.

Oh, I concur wholeheartedly. I was just making the statement for those who are not as well versed in the comic as some of us are, as well as the literal minded.
