I like how you blatantly ignored the several posts following mine that said the exact same thing I did or agreed with me. :monkey1 :lol
I like how you think having people agree with you makes you any less wrong. Facts aren't decided by consensus, you know. ;)

In any case, there's not much reason to quote and respond to posts essentially consisting of "yes, I agree" unless one is suffering from some sort of OCD. :p

now i see ace here

I like how I post that pic and only get one response to it.
Next time quote the entire post.

Well then let's talk about you being a hypocrite then. You're ranting in the Baroness thread over your disappointment with the PF coming with high heels when the figures never had them. Yet you're somehow cool with Sideshow stripping away 100% of the likeness of Ace? :huh :lol

As had been alluded to, I doubt SSC will do a pilot any time soon. Maybe Wildbill, but can't see them doing a jet pilot. Look how they've never tackled a Star Wars XWing or TIE pilot. Maybe they don't want to make a figure that people mostly associate with sitting in a cockpit? I don't know.

Not only does Star Wars =/= G.I. Joe, but Star Wars < G.I. Joe :lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

In all seriousness though, there are several gaping holes in that line since it's inception in what, 2003? Sideshow needs to fill those holes before they start making redundant 5th and 6th versions of characters.

I can't say it's really "disappointment", since I'd never buy a PF statue in the first place. :p

As I've pointed out before, Sideshow's 1/6th Joes seem to be their own take on the characters, which may reference but not necessarily exactly replicate the Hasbro character designs. Bearing that precedent in mind, yeah, I'd be totally cool with an F-35 pilot Ace figure, and as for "the likeness of Ace", as I've already demonstrated, the F-35 HMDS is already part of it. ;)

I completely disagree with that sentiment.

X-Wing Luke is iconic and very important to SW, especially to OT elitists. I think he'd be a huge seller in comparison to other SW figures. Ace would be on the level as Dusty. I think all the completists and hard core fans would get him, but a lot of people would say he doesn't fit in with the others and would pass.

I second that analysis.

Good. Then both of you can take it back to the Star Wars boards. :wave

If you read above, I already conceeded they don't want to make cockpit related figures. That's how you got to making a stink over SW in the first place. Maybe you forgot about that in your haste to find something to be argumentative about. :dunno

No. My point was simply, and still is, we'll probably see Ace long before a wide-release X-Wing Luke.

My point was I don't think there's a rush from SSC to do either of those figures.

If they did, I think you'd see Luke or a TIE pilot first. If that happens maybe we can start dreaming about Ace or Wild Weasel or whoever.

I can't imagine Ace arriving first. Then again, this IS Sideshow and they tried to introduce a Big Foot PF before Chewbacca...:lol
