There's a nice little write-up on Larry Hama on page 251 of the Sideshow Collectibles Catalog Volume 11 that I received with the Sideshow Spooktacular 2009 kit. The page features the covers of a few of the Marvel Joe RAH series as well as three of the original file cards. Most likely I'm reading into this too much, but the three file cards are Cobra Commander (made into a figure and shipped), Storm Shadow (already made as a figure, and shipping now), and Snow Job.

Again, I'm probably reading into it too much, but Sideshow has been known to leave little clues and teasers. I just found it intriguing that Snow Job would have been one of the file cards featured rather than Snake Eyes or Duke. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Snow Job would be a pretty kewl choice.

Bazooka!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would prefer Zap, but think Bazooka would be visually a kewl figure.

Ill take anyone at this point, the wait between announcements is to long. Snow Job would be an unexpected choice, but Id be happy with him.

Hey, no problem. The back issues might be a bit hard to track down now but yeah, actually it is pretty good. But you gotta go with the flow and toss nostalgia by the wayside.

I just ordered the graphich novel of the first 6 issues off amazon. I actually like the IDW stuff but decided to get everything as graphic novels after the first 6 issues of the main line. It just works better for me. I also will have the classic graphic novel volume 5 by the end of the week. So much awesome Joe lately and thats with me completely skipping everything having to do with the movie. :banana

i'd like a snow job figure. the artic gear would be awesome and a bit of a change.

took a groupshot to show how awesome this line is becoming.

Great shot Craw. I seriously can't believe how great the line is. SS is knocking it out of the park.

As far as Joes I'd like to see as many figures that are as interesting and distinctive as possible. #1-Torpedo, 2- Lady Jaye and Scarlett, #3 Recondo, #4-BlowTorch, Beach Head, Dusty, Junkyard, Flint, Shipwreck. A lot of the Joes have pretty similar outfits, ie loose buttoned shirts, loose pants, belts, holsters and bandoliers, with different faces and a lot of times different guns. Flint, Hawk, Duke, Rock N Roll, and Grunt all look really similar. I realize that a lot of the most popular characters are pretty similar looking, and the popular characters would seem the obvious choice, but artistically, I would prefer more variety, to showcase the RANGE of the different outfits that the Joes have.

We need a female!!

Scarlett or Baroness!!

No, not until they make a better female body .... and dont lie and say the one they have is good enough, its not. Lets encourage improvment for this line from sideshow so the figures keep getting better and better.

Mixed bag. Not fond of the female buck, but if we get something on a WIP pro female body we'll need to replace anyway, I'd personally rather get them on the buck and choose which body I'm porting them to.

Im thinking with the female clothing being more tightly fitted we might have a problem doing a simple body swap. Thats my main reason I'd like to see sideshow produce a good solid, tight jointed, quality female pro (or whatever they decide to call it) before they touch any female joe characters.

Besides we have plenty of male characters to pass the time until they come up with somthing great.

the lara croft figure has fairly tight fitting clothing, and ported just fine to a hot toys female body. Just food for thought.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Most of Sideshow's females port over to better bodies. Did the same with my Laura and I had no problem getting either Leia over to Dragon bodies.
