Yeah, I could see myself forgoing Bludd, too. But if that happens I'd likely feel the need to sell Firefly, too.

I know Firefly's a fan favourite, but he just doesn't fit in that upper echelon of Cobras imo - Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Zartan, Storm Shadow.

Both are right next in line (along with Mindbender), but those five make a nice, concise display/collection.

Still, he's nowhere near the Cobra upper echelons of Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness.

I only include Zartan because of the way CC used to play him off Destro all the time in the Sunbow cartoon, but if I REALLY wanted to cut it down it'd be CC, Destro and the Baroness.

Storm Shadow's kind of in his own league because of how important he was in the comics.

I agree with the trinity at the top of the pyramid, but Firefly is that pistol hiding behind CC's back. No loyalties except to who signs the checks, no accountability except to the job...maybe my imagination gets away from me, but I can't imagine the upper ranks of Cobra without him.

Zartan, Bludd, Firefly and Storm Shadow make that platform under which Baroness, Destro and Cobra Commander stand. You can't really pull any of them for a reason beyond personal bias. An argument can be made for each of them being integral.

Depends on your criteria for the "second tier" Cobras. If prominence in the Sunbow series is a factor, I think you can rather easily prioritize each:

1. Zartan
2. Storm Shadow
3. Bludd
4. Firefly

If the old Marvel series is more your cup of tea, it might look more like this:

1. Storm Shadow
2. Zartan
3. Firefly
4. Bludd

And in fact, Storm Shadow might be right under Cobra Commander... If you're REALLY picky, you might be fine with:

1. Duke
2. Snake Eyes
3. Cobra Commander
4. Storm Shadow

The "Hasbro favourites", if you will.

Of course, if it's just about the toys, and/or childhood favourites, it's anyone's game. And Firefly definitely has a very high cool factor, going on. One of my favourite '84 figures, that's for sure.
