Firefly's nice and all, but. . .Sideshow, it's time for Flint. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. Get it done.

I'd say poor. We'd be lucky if it's removable. Although the Imperial officers come with plastic and cloth caps but Indy and Germ. Indy didn't. :huh

what are the chances sideshow makes a real cloth beret?

I'd be fine with it if they made one similar to the one that came with the Green Beret Duke figure. I'd hate to have to tolerate a horribly pointy beret and it's be extremely hard to water treat a beret that size to get it to lay right anyway.

Thanks :D

I was taking inventory of all my Joes yesterday and realized the ridiculous number of Flint's I've obtained over the years. My single favorite toy as a kid. I posted a pic somewhere with some of my other Flint-related stuff: chapstick, kite, puzzle, etc. etc. :lol

I actually had the Tiger Force version as a kid, but he's no longer with us (probably buried in my old sandbox in my parents' back yard somewhere).

As for the Sideshow version, I hope they go with the sculpted beret, honestly, even if it is sculpted beret-shaped core with a cloth version glued to it. The 1/6 cloth berets I've seen often don't look right, and can be difficult to position correctly. Maybe one sculpted onto a headsculpt, and an alternate, hatless headsculpt with optional cloth beret.

I've actually got him, but the poor bastard's rubber band snapped and I never bothered repairing him, so he's in pieces. He's got a great head sculpt under that yellow helmet, but it fit too loosely on 85 Flint's body, if memory serves.

how about a hybrid beret for flint? somehow sculpted from plastic but coated with fabric?

anyway....yes yes yes we need another Joe now!
